Imagine if Edge played on Loaded UM teams...not teams that were reeling from sanctions during his tenure.
Good point. He scored a lot of TDs in the league.
But his ‘02 college season was SO far above what he was able to accomplish in the league. Of course, there is a pretty good reason for that and we all know what it is. We’ll never know what his NFL career would’ve looked like without that submarine cheap shot to his knee in the desert.

Tbh in my lifetime those last few games against UCLA and NC St I’ve never seen a running back be more dominantImagine if Edge played on Loaded UM teams...not teams that were reeling from sanctions during his tenure.
McGahee's 2002 campaign was the most dominant & electrifying I've ever seen a UM RB have....that being said, Edge would've been Frightening on better UM teams.Tbh in my lifetime those last few games against UCLA and NC St I’ve never seen a running back be more dominant
I certainly can respect the opinion even though it greatly diminishes the accomplishments of the several other people in this discussion. For me it's between Frank & edge. Personal opinion I'd take edge each and every time. But it's just a personal preference. Frank was a monster, Willis was a monster and so was Clint. Hard to hold each of them simply at their own merits when they each had very different circumstances.Frank Gore and its not close.
In UM history or to come out of UM? Because he was just better than average and sometimes great when he was here. I know injuries and all that but it was what it was.Frank Gore and its not close.
