DAILY DEBATE: Who are your favorite (and least favorite) CFB media personalities?

Pate by a landslide. I like Herbie most of the time. Pickell has his moments, but he swag jacks the **** out of Pate imo. Feldman is a Cane so I’ll always have love

Favorite:
1) ACC Network crew (McClain, EJ, Richt) - they all show us a tremendous amount of love despite McClain being a Tiger and EJ being a Nole.
2) Herbstreit - Always fair and most knowledgeable. Has historically been good to the Canes. Great commentator.
3) Desmond Howard - Probably the one that shows the most love to us on Gameday.
4) Pat MacAfee - Brings a new dimension to Gameday, makes the show very entertaining, and is also very fair towards all the teams.
5) Joe Tessitore - Like the way he calls the game with all the emotion, and every time he calls one of our games, he usually gives us a lot of props.
6) Mark Jones - Always reps the 305.

Least Favorite:
1) Galloway, Reece, Tim Hasselbeck. I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of others.

Agree on Herbie becoming too much of a company man. I’m waiting for Josh Pate to get bought out, because then the same will happen to him. As it is, his SEC-ness already does him in by the end of each season. I do love how he rips apart the polls though.

David Hale is my favorite twitter follow, and I follow him on Substack too. I love how he uses data to knock down all the SEC biases. He’s a huge dork on TV though, and gets his points across much better in writing.

I hate pretty much everyone. The media sucks. Please someone invent a Keith Jackson voice that can replace any voice on your TV, so that no matter who is calling the game we can just hear his voice.

Over the last decade or so I tend to watch more CBS Sports Inside College Football than say ESPN coverage. FOX Saturday coverage is okay though but still a bit stale.

Not really a fan of most the new school broadcasters.

The Cover 3 guys (Chip Patterson, Tom Fornelli, Danny Kanell, Bud Elliot) are tops for me: insightful, entertaining, transparent, analytical. Make fun of and address all the CFB conspiracies (both the true and untrue ones). They're also gambling degenerates, so that's very relatable.
Dislikes: anyone that covers multiple sports, like they do at ESPN... just doesn't go deep enough
