DAILY DEBATE: Who are your favorite (and least favorite) CFB media personalities?

The best CFB personality is Pate, & one of the best analysts is Riddick.

The best announcing team currently is probably Nessler & Danielson, even though they primarily call BIG10 games, & this upcoming season will be their final yr together.

Jackson, Musburger, & Nessler are 3 of the GOAT play by play announcers in CFB & have called some of the most important games in this program's history.

I enjoy Jesse Palmer even though he’s a ****** gator.
I’m in the minority here too, but I like Palmer. Not as big on Joe Tess as most are. He’s alright. Also enjoy Brad Nessler and Riddick most of the time.

Favorite - Louis Riddick, Andre Ware & Trevor Matich

Least Favorite - Joey Galloway & Pat McAfee

Pate can pound sand with his smedium -shirts.

Not sure who died and made that guy a leading voice on anything.

Not a fan of him nor his ilk.
Pate said recently that his Miami videos get a lot of hate comments. I think that’s why he does them - comments and clicks breed $$$. People around here need to realize he’s not really our friend; he’s just stirring up **** for clicks and playing the social media game.

Any media personality who's a CFB purist, is a friend of this program. MIA doesn't need its own version of Paul Finebaum in the media; that will only end up hurting this program, imo.

I grew up on Corso Saturday mornings so his final show coming up will be the end of an era. Truly the most likable nole.

I really like any game that Louis Riddick does.

I wish Klatt and RG3 would carpool together at all times….you know just in case.

This is geared more towards the old timers:
Favorites: Agree on Keith Jackson (classic) and I'll add Dan Fouts -- they will always get top billing from me for calling out the absolute fraud that was Terry (I had to replay the play in my head again before throwing the flag) Porter during the national title game...they immediately recognized the fraud that happened.
Also agree on Herbie (overall has been very good to and for Miami over the years)
Josh Pate - recent addition
Homer Brigade - D-Money, Alex Donno, and a classic who is an alum and really covers all sports not just NCAA, but Roy Firestone (one of the best interviewers in the business)
Verne Lundquist
Ron Franklin

Least Favorites (the hate for Miami is always apparent): Brent Musburger (aka Satan's spawn)
Don Criqui and Bob Trumpy - just awful
Saban jock sniffer Paul Finebaum
Almost every color commentary person who calls Miami games
Brock Huard
Rece Davis

I will never forget how Musberger shot his load over AJ McCarren's girlfriend. Never seen an announcer so desperate on live tv. Well maybe when Broadway Joe tried to hook up with Suzy Kolber on MNF. 🤣

Musburger was to football what Bob Costas was to MLB. Smarmy, biased little pricks that could never do a game without letting their arrogance and bias be known.

I’ll never forgive Costas for the 1997 World Series. He’s watching one if the greatest WS in history and all he can talk about is how it should be the Yankees there.

Though they generally did NFL. Trumpy and Dierdork were all time tool boxes.
