DAILY DEBATE: Who are your favorite (and least favorite) CFB media personalities?

This is geared more towards the old timers:
Favorites: Agree on Keith Jackson (classic) and I'll add Dan Fouts -- they will always get top billing from me for calling out the absolute fraud that was Terry (I had to replay the play in my head again before throwing the flag) Porter during the national title game...they immediately recognized the fraud that happened.
Also agree on Herbie (overall has been very good to and for Miami over the years)
Josh Pate - recent addition
Homer Brigade - D-Money, Alex Donno, and a classic who is an alum and really covers all sports not just NCAA, but Roy Firestone (one of the best interviewers in the business)
Verne Lundquist
Ron Franklin

Least Favorites (the hate for Miami is always apparent): Brent Musburger (aka Satan's spawn)
Don Criqui and Bob Trumpy - just awful
Saban jock sniffer Paul Finebaum
Almost every color commentary person who calls Miami games
Brock Huard
Rece Davis

Ron Franklin has THE classic Thursday night CFB voice. I'd put his voice with Tim Brando and Keith Jackson as iconic CFB voices.

Top: Herbie, Feldman, Klatt (i know he's likely hated around here), Gus Johnson, Rece Davis

Least Fav: Galloway, Tessitore, Pollack (currently unemployed)

Any media personality who's a CFB purist, is a friend of this program. MIA doesn't need its own version of Paul Finebaum in the media; that will only end up hurting this program, imo.
Are you saying Pate is a CFB purist or our version of Paul Finebaum? Just want to make sure I understand - not arguing. I very much agree with your second sentence, although I believe Pate is currently somewhere in the middle of those two.

For the record, I don’t hate Josh Pate - I subscribe to his YT channel and watch occasionally (few times a month). I’ve said before that I am a fan of the way he tears up the media polls and think he sticks up for us. However, his SEC-homerism tends to do him by the end of each season (you see this with his polls - which is why I think a lot of his videos are just purposefully controversial for clicks), and I am wary of him truly being our friend when he admits his Miami videos drum up a lot of hate comments, and I know how the game works. He also has admitted to unfairly growing up hating Miami simply because he was in TN and he was raised to, and I respect that.

I also appreciate him for his perspective now, because he is doing well and I expect he will get bought out soon and will have to pander to a new boss. Just like how the NYT ruined The Athletic. I believe he is a CFB purist inside, but even now, he can’t truly be a purist when he is selling his product. And he is hustling and trying to grow rapidly - not just selling. Hence my cautious approach with his channel.
