I agree he will be better. But he has similar strengths and weaknesses.Wayne is much more talented and gifted than Chantz.

I see the similarities. Chantz and Jayden are both bigger body DE's coming in with good athletic profiles, but I also thought Wayne while may not as straight line of athlete as Chantz was sorta similar, and didn't show great bend and flexibility off the edge.I agree he will be better. But he has similar strengths and weaknesses.
Can you expound here, admittedly your comment in the OP scared the **** out of me.I agree he will be better. But he has similar strengths and weaknesses.
Who is undersized besides deen and gore?Good stuff, D. I am not as bullish as you are about our DL. Obviously, Mesidor is our stud and Taylor has the potential to be that dude but needs to be consistent. Beyond those guys, there are a lot of ifs, buts, and undersized dudes.
Good on him for sticking it out too. Third DC of his career alsoLove the comment about Keontra. I thought he always had a good skill set, he gained way too much weight last year.
Weaknesses like not being bendy off the edge and being stiff?I agree he will be better. But he has similar strengths and weaknesses.
Really hope we snag another guy at WR, DT, and CB in the spring. Would make me feel much better about the team overall. The improvement on the OL IMO is going to be so big for us.
More 12 personnel for Dawson isnt bc our “talented” TEs. It’s the difference between Mario and Holgerson.
I think Wayne will be better than Chantz (who is currently a starter and will have a role). He’s more flexible and more talented. Overall, he is a keeper. Can you expound here, admittedly your comment in the OP scared the **** out of me.
“Two-tight end sets, otherwise known as 12 personnel, have become increasingly popular over the last few years. The grouping features one running back, two tight ends and two wide receivers.
Georgia used 12 personnel at times last season. but will use it much more often this year and with more variety. The Bulldogs have two uber-talented tight ends in Darnell Washington and Brock Bowers and coaches want them on the field at the same time.”
12 doesn’t mean we’re running 80% of plays. But what does Monken know.
What are Bissainthe's "strengths and weaknesses" at this point? I recall the tremendous recruiting hype and the jubilation when he signed.I agree he will be better. But he has similar strengths and weaknesses.
I was coming into this thread just to see if you had already posted. How we end the portal will be the difference between 6-6 and 8-4. It's that bigly. And WR, RB, DE, DT, CB, S. So basically a whole new team still.
Washington and Bowers vs Skinner and an 8th year transfer. Pretty comparable.

Does UGA run an Air Raid?
The gurus have spoken.Washington and Bowers vs Skinner and an 8th year transfer. Pretty comparable.
