If he goes to FSU, then good luck to him. We still have Yearby and Powell(assuming he stays) and we're going back after Sony who IMO is the better RB. If he doesn't want to play with his "so called" brothers, play in front of his family, etc. Who cares? Im not going to **** and moan about it. We still have a very good class assuming no one flips.
 
well if she thinks that its annoying that our coaches come by, wait until all the other coaches of all the other colleges come by and make a late pitch for him

it seems to me that she is just annoyed in general about the whole in visits with all the schools

Unfortunately, the results are out of the staff's control. They can only control effort. Now if Cook's camp had said they don't hear from Miami very much, that would be a fail.

I respectfully disagree. As the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Some times it just doesn't work out for reasons beyond the control of the coaches. Just my two cents.

This is beyond dumb. What Canesman said was immature but this whole "recruits read these boards" is just stupid. There are people immature on every fan board. Recruits should know there's an immature bunch in every fan base.
 
Before I say this, I AM NOT TROLLING, JUST PASSING ALONG INFORMATION. If you still think I am afterwards, then all I have to say is f**k you.

I tried to post about Cook's fam having a check cut by FSU and people thought I was trolling. Per a source who is closely around the situation, Tim Brewster and the grandma are linked in. Brewster has facilitated the transaction(has check ready if he signs) and the grandma is basically all over Cook and pressing him to take the money and go to Tallahassee. However as mentioned by Pete, Cook is torn. It basically comes down to not letting his grandmother down and making the best decision for himself. If you think I'm making this up, then that's on you. If you think 247 is interviewing the grandma for the fun of it, then you are naive.

It's a Catch 22 for our staff. We're not beating the top teams unless we have equal or better talent. We've proven that on the field the last couple years. However, it's going to be hard to get those super studs to compete with the top teams who are poaching the super studs if we can't get over the hump and become a **** program again.
