Colorado State indefinitely suspending football

West Coast liberals. It’s a ******* disease.
In other breaking news, in South Carolina, Trevor Lawrence has decided to risk his forty million and play football. He’s calling this plague “the flu”. Liberalism is more dangerous to our way of life than the Coronavirus. Unbelievable
Only a matter of time before some mad whack Democrat Socialist Governor shuts down a state due to global warming crisis, pollution crisis, racisism crisis, what have you.

And there it is. Didn’t take long for a right wing puke party to engulf another thread.

Probably making more money that way. But I think it also means no season for anyone if it happens. BTW- did you see the joke schedule the SEC gave Bama, UF, and LSU? It's as if the conference wants to guarantee themselves multiple spots in the playoffs. Smart.

Pac10 will not dictate the future of this season. We probably won’t play, but it’ll have nothing to do with the PAC 10.

Lol you shouldn’t assume my politics. Fiscally responsible and socially liberal. Thanks for asking. I’ll assume you’re blind to everything that’s not a far left view. Wait... I won’t because I’m not comfortable doing that. FWIW I lived on the west coast for a decade. It’s a very different place, if you’re just assuming everyone’s that same too. Have a great day and go Canes. Stay safe 😷🙌❤️

Translation: We are firing the entire football staff for cause, saving ourselves millions in 2020, and handing the reins over to the local HS coaches for a $20 stipend and a bucket of fries.
Wall Street Journal has an article a few years ago about how much money that school was spending to try to keep up in the athletic facility and stadium arms race, and how unviable it was for college football in the long term.

Colorado state won’t be back, and that stadium that they invested so much in will be allowed to crumble or more likely be repurposed for futbol.

Bingo, someone get this man a chicken dinner
College football will not get bailout money. Period. No should it. You cannot make a legitimate case for it no matter the party in charge. At best, the schools maybe get some money to offset athlete scholarship costs. But TV or ticket revenue, never.

It’s more likely that football gets politicized - as so much now is - with a progressive opinion that football is too dangerous and should be banned, with conservatives taking the opposite tact. And because the partisans on each side mandates absolute obedience to all policy positions of the respective party, football goes away in places like California, New York, Colorado, and Michigan and is strengthened in states like Texas and the SEC.

I wasn't saying they should, I'm agreeing with Indy.
