Coach Ice

Right Roe! This is so obviously disturbing that it's laughable. How does a person cite the o-line's poor performance this season against everyone, let alone FSU and the number one team in the country, and then associate the ) coach with their performance. All logic/reason/benefit of doubt magically departs when discussing black coaches smh.

So Ice Harris' resume is: he won championships in high school, the running backs didn't fumble.

You don't put together a program like he did at BTW by being a bad coach. Yes he had a ton of talent but it was also a well coached team. During the high school games on ESPN, you could tell the difference between his BTW team and some of the other talented teams in SFL.

He's inexperienced on the collegiate level but I think he's worth retaining as he's obviously a good coach.

So every successful high school coach is automatically a good college coach.

Coaches I think that might get looks at....
WR - Kevin Beard
TE - Larry Scott
LB - Hurlie Brown
LB - Kareem Brown
DB - Paul Williams

Support Staff-
Recruiting - Jorge Baez
Recruiting - Brooke Wilson (look ole girl up... wow)

On the bubble -
OC - James Coley (would have to probably take a demotion)
SC - Andreu Swansey

Gone -
OL - Ken Kehoe
DC - Mark D'Onofrio
DL - Randy Melvin
QC - 3

*** I don't know ****, and this isn't anything official, just my uneducated opinion.

"DB - Paul Williams"??????????

Are you out of your mind!!!!!

Hoping Richt brings BMac as the new RB coach

Same.

He's a UGA alum so you know Kirby will try like **** to retain him.

Yeup. Maybe richt offers him the co-oc or oc title while richt runs the offense?

Kirby smart was the RB coach for UGA during one season while Bmac was a wr fwiw

Bringing BMac would be huge but I feel like with the interim tag that means he's staying. With that being said, since Smart won't be in Athens until after that Playoffs then you gotta think there's still a chance for him to coach the UGA bowl game then peace out.

He already had Asst. HC as a title last year with Richt so the only promotion would be OC (with Richt calling the plays like you said). Would that be enough to bring him down here? God I hope so.

Did I say that? ****, I even said he was inexperienced on the collegiate level. If you want to have a strawman argument, find somebody else.

With that said, I do think an incredibly successful head coach on the high school level, who knows how to build a program (check BTW record before and after Ice's stint) and be successful has a place as a position coach on the collegiate level.

Of course you said that. Your defense for Ice being a good college coach is that he built a great high school program. Many guys have built great high school programs. Therefore.......

Not retaining him is fine with me, but making up unfounded complaints and disparaging him is something totally different and completely unwarranted.

Right Jack71! U notice Jagr didn't refute that they needed defending, he is just mad that I'm bold enough to do so. In his deluded mind, the problem is my defense of them, and not the fact that they unfortunately require/need defending.

I didn't say I thought it would be a good idea, I said I think he may get a look to stay on....

If it was my opinion, I wouldn't keep anyone outside of KB, Scott, and both Browns, and Baez. All the rest would be gone.

"Ice couldn't even convince his own son to come here"

…yeah, thats how bad Golden was.

ice's kid wanted to play QB which Miami told him absolutely not. he didn't like that and went to Florida and luckily grier liked PED's. as we all can see treon isn't a QB by any means. id have Kirby freeman start before him.

Winning at one level doesn't automatically mean you will succeed at the next...

Was the point whether Ice's kid is killing it or not? If he sucks and chose not to come here, then we benefitted from that right? Which is it, y'all scrambling, hate overload.

Oh, I thought jack was being sarcastic.

And I am not mad about anything. You're the textbook angry black man. Everything is racist. I find it hilarious that the first thing you see is black, then you might consider facts somewhere down the road. People hated Shannon? Gotta be because he's black. Haven't seen much from Ice? Gotta be because he's black.

You said he didn't come here because Golden sucks. Maybe Golden knew more than Muschamp and McElwain.

So Ice gets credit for not being able to convince his son to sign with UM despite UM clearly wanting him because his son is proving to not be a very good QB?

Sounds good.
