Coach Ice

Then what is the purpose or utility in interacting in this form of dialogue if U aren't listening to others as well? Did U write that thinking/expecting or believing that we'd be just like U and not read it as well lol.

Yearby and Walton ran beautifully against the teams that our o-line could block, they never lost fumbles or gave up sacks lol...these are facts not opinion. Also, how is it that the majority of Canes fans can understand and consider that the cloud held Golden back, but then expect that one man could lock down the State of Miami *despite* his bosses ineptitude at actually coaching football on the field? Ice and no other man could sale and overcome the product that was actually being put out on the field. And for Golden and his former apologists to expect him to single-handedly do is ridiculous. How do U guys determine who receives your empathy and benefit of doubt, and who doesn't?

Miami vs FSU - 20 YARDS TOTAL RUSHING
Miami vs Clemson - 53 YARDS TOTAL RUSHING

Actually it was the opposite, UM was bad mouthing him and he released a video supporting UM and clearing the air that UM polluted towards him. Do U really that arrogant and pompous Jersey bro Al Golden would hire Ice Harris out of HS coaching with no degree, and as U guys claim, "no real recruiting connections or ability" after he bad-mouthed him or the school??? Lol, they were in how they dealt with Kirkland, hiring Ice was an olive branch, instant credibility, and a coaching skills upgrade. A win/win for Golden.

Running back is one position you can afford to have a "recruiter" at. Ice is whatever. If Richt wants to keep him that's fine and if not who cares.

Ice is just a recruiter?? Didn't the guy win multiple High School NC's? Besides, considering how **** poor our line has been, the RB's have done pretty well. And yeah, I can't remember any fumbles, although I'm sure there were a few.

Don't see Ice as one neccesarily to keep. The production from Chubb, Michel, Gurley should recruit that position itself. It would make more sense keeping support staff for the high school connection (ex. Baez, Darrow)

...On how many attempts? I'd also be interested to know the number of run plays vs pass plays called in those games.

Does Ice have any more children or great players like Callaway coached by his children that we need to lose to UF? If not, I think we can fire him for the 8th time.

Google it. 20 yards total rushing is pathetically horrible, and Richt needs to fix it.

I think the o-line was our worst unit this year, but 20 yards is 20 yards.... can't exactly give Ice a trophy for that one.

Look I am not going to go back and forth on this. I didn't read the Coach Ice thread because I already had my opinion on him regardless of what everyone else is saying. Many threads in here I read all 20 pgs or however long the thread is. In this case I have MY OPINION and it isn't going to change. Dude was a great HS coach but did nothing while at Miami. He can go back to HS and be great again.

This is big boy territory. We don't need to hear about his accomplishments in high school.

HE BAD-MOUTHED US!!!

Proof that he didn't and in fact, after his player's scholarship was snatched informally after it hinged on the commitment of other player, Ice still didn't take it personal or steer kids away from UM. All of our BTW recruits since this fiasco is proof. Just another blog lynching of our black coaches: Shannon, Paul Williams, Swasey, now Ice, and f' Larry Scott too for good measure lol!

Thanks for finally getting around to your true complaint. You're just here to defend black people.

They definitely need defending on this board, ... along with women, homosexuals, Jews, Hispanics, Muslims, etc.

Right Roe! This is so obviously disturbing that it's laughable. How does a person cite the o-line's poor performance this season against everyone, let alone FSU and the number one team in the country, and then associate the ) coach with their performance. All logic/reason/benefit of doubt magically departs when discussing black coaches smh.

You don't put together a program like he did at BTW by being a bad coach. Yes he had a ton of talent but it was also a well coached team. During the high school games on ESPN, you could tell the difference between his BTW team and some of the other talented teams in SFL.

He's inexperienced on the collegiate level but I think he's worth retaining as he's obviously a good coach.
