Daniel Carter mentioned Hickson by name when announcing his commitment. To Pitt, not Kansas State.

Unfortunately, that type of runner-up result would've made him fit right in with our previous staff. Hopefully this is not the hire at RB coach.

There wasn't any apparent speculation about Hickson possibly leaving when Carter made his decision. Carter's commitment occurred nearly a full month before our offensive staff was fired by Diaz.
