Uptempo spread does what its designed. But i noticed a lot of teams use those schemes to mask deficiencies in personnel or or stretch a defense sideways to make running room declare coverage or scheme up mismatches etc...

But most teams that have to run that type of O, have even more personnel deficiencies on D.


I could be wrong tho

They use it because they can't line up in I form and compete.. but with spread they have a chance.. when a top team who can recruit runs it it gets them to playoff.. Oregon, osu, Clemson..

It's where the game is headed.. even NFL as patriots are wayyy ahead of most.. but high school, college, NFL.. results are in.. it works
