I never once said we don't need an edge. I said if we take one that's a FRONTLINE BIG ADDITION we're gonna lose out of that room. That's all I said. I don't think we'll bring in a big name. I think we'll do what we've been doing. Which is just bring in some depth.

The Marion type of players will still be brought in as depth pieces and if they outperform who is on the roster so be it, but Miami isn't going to jeopardize all their investments on the dine by bringing in guys who are promised to start day 1 and have the kids leave.

Like the Pitt QB and he's got some moxie, but ...

Really would like us to have a legit dual-threat QB going forward -- kind of player who can bust a 40-yard run when a defense loses containment or escape a pass rush to keep the play alive. Totally changes the way DC's gotta game plan.

Not a run-first scattershot thrower, but a guy who can hit open receivers downfield on a consistent and reliable basis. A good OC/QB coach can develop a talent like that where he needs to be.

Oh ok my bad then. Tbh other than Lightfoot and lowe It wouldnt bother me if one of the other guys left
 
Bailey is a more accurate passer and definitely has real questions about being a gamer. Levitt is an absolute gamer a better runner and has better nfl eval. I trust Levitt more than CJ Bailey esp on designed runs.

I'm randomly going to this NC State/Memphis game on Friday as I won a drawing on the Reddit CFB sub. 4 club tix with pregame field passes. I'm interested to see if Bailey is actually good cause he didn't look it when we smashed them.

That’s why our performance at A&M is important. It will shape the at large narrative for next year and beyond.

Don’t need to necessarily win but need to play well and show Miami belongs. Can’t pull one of those SMU performances against pen st last year or we get lumped in with the ACC charity case thinking and lose any benefit of doubt.

We haven't gotten blown out in 2 years, I think it will turn out well.
