This is true. Pagano does not have final say over roster or staff. He wanted Chud for OC but got stuck with Pep.

There's nothing wrong with having a coach that's been fired before! Most of them have been. It's not like most jobs. Some guys are just not good fits for some places. You are EXTREMELY lucky if you have coached at more than 3 places in your career and have never been fired!
 
I'm ok with Pagano. Think it might be possible to bring in Butch on the same staff as a DC, recruiting coord role.

Plus, with Pagano, he's seen it all. Had to fight for his life. Real life experience like that means so much more than binders full of corporate slogans. Especially when you're teaching young men life lessons.

No coach in the nfl has done more with less. Not one coach. Last year, im sure he beat like 5 playoff teams with that roster. That roster where you can only name one player. Only reason you can name more than one player now is because theyre Canes.
