Chick speaks out on Mark D’Onofrio/Golden Era

You are conflating two things. Richts best season was 10-3. Golden's best was 9-4. You said that Richt winning the ACC coastal clinches it for you.

In 2012, UNC was banned from the postseason by the NCAA and ineligible to win the division. So that means the division winner had to come from the remaining teams. Simple question: According to conference rules, which team was next in line to play in the ACC championship game?

UNC was banned for breaking the rules. Miami was banned for breaking the rules. According to conference record books, Georgia Tech won the division. 9-4 means nothing to me when you can go 4-4 in the division and not sniff the goal for your season. Talking about IFs so much, let's go ahead an add an IF the Hurricane never hit, that 10-3 is 11-3. But I guess 1 game doesnt make a difference to you.

Ed Oliver (luckily hes a complete dawg) dropped a tiny bit of value and hated Dnofrio....imagine they almost ruined his draft. Obviously he is built for the NFL and would rise regardless too much quickness.
Pretty interesting dude. 6'2" / 287 # DT for all those size critic's. I liked this guy a bunch...

So they should have abandoned their defense, gone to a 4-3 because Chick really wanted to play at 240 # and be an OLB in college and not a DE.... that's your story...

Actually, I'm ecstatic they didn't abandon that garbage *** defense, anything that expedited the removal of those 2 b!tches I 1,000,000,000,000,000% supported. 10-24-15 was the best day of my life!!!

Miami was not banned for breaking the rules. Neither the NCAA nor the ACC had imposed any penalty on Miami in 2012. Miami chose not to go even though the Canes won the division due to owning the tiebreaker over GT.

So, what you're saying is, Miami was the best team in the coastal for 2017, but in 2012, we were 2nd best.

I have an “agenda” now?

Rational people should be able to disagree without making things up about “religion” or “agendas”. If you’d rather keep going down the path you’re on, that’s ok. It is kinda entertaining.

Be honest when you post and this won’t happen. You basically lied in your original post to make Gluten look better than Rick

No. They should have played him at OLB/Rush LB like I said in my previous post. You do realize that an outside linebacker in a 3-4 is essentially a defensive end with some coverage responsibilities, right?

Chick played at 235, 250, 270 and 285... He wanted to be an every down DE. At 235 and 250 he was getting manhandled by college OT's so he gained weight. At 270 and 285 he was a slow ****. He was NOT going to be a 250# LB or specialty passer rusher (3rd down, etc.) at Miami. You idiots have a terrible memory... The truth is he is a tweaner and got lucky because of his speed that the NFL uses dudes like him as 3rd down guys and on special teams. Good for him.
Ur literally an idiot. Dude was 235 in his first year when Miami was 4-3, then he was 250, 270, 285 the rest of his 3 years playing DE in a 3-4 scheme. Of course his first year was not that good he was 235. Yes he wanted to be an everyone DE, but not in a 3-4 scheme. Basically ur saying his speed works in the NFL, but that same speed did not work in college, how does that make any sense?

You said the difference for you was that Richt won the coastal. Your words, not mine.

1. It's a silly thing for that to be your deciding factor since Golden also won the coastal by default in 2012. The school admin (not the NCAA or ACC) denied him the opportunity to play in the game, meaning GT was then named the division winner. If admin had stayed silent, Miami wins the ACC coastal in 2012. No one disputes this.

#2. Miami was first best since UNC was ineligible. If you run a race against five other students in HS and some homeless dude jumps on the track and beats you to the finish line, no sane person would say you finished 2nd, since the homeless dude was not an eligible competitor.

So... I’m an anti Christian liar with an agenda.

Pardon me while I go on not taking you seriously.

I didn’t say anti-Christian, I said anti-religious.

Your tag line is:

“Hot dogs N’ Hallways”

...and you’re talking about taking things seriously. Ok.

Got it, Miami was better than OSU that year too. They were ineligible to win their division at 12-0 last I checked. Wisconsin was also better than OSU that year considering they won the division since OSU and Penn St was ineligible.

Again, you are mixing issues trying to score a point. No one says that Miami was better than UNC in 2012. UNC was ineligible though, making Miami the coastal champs. The school decided not to accept the championship so GT got it. That ACC coastal title, is according to you, the main reason to put Richt over Golden. It's silly reasoning.

The scariest part is how everyone is all like "yeah, **** Golden and Chick was right" now, but there were some wars on these boards. Some people just really didn't want to accept the "professional coaches" don't know everything and can be insanely wrong.

Might be the best dt in this draft his numbers are savage....reminds me of Sapp. The only thing his arms are a little short but he still get guards off him. I think hes going to be a regular pro bowler.

Somebody should've swung on that coward right their, we getting ready to play Florida St. and that clown actually said "dont rise to the occasion, just fall back on your training" the worst part is, their were so called UM fans trying to defend that clown and his statement!
Nah, the worst were the fans ****ting on the kids, as the interview alludes too. I appreciate your passion though.
