Players from the University of Texas are soft. NFL scouts have been saying it for years. And these guys aren't even good enough to get drafted. Mack Brown left Strong a burning bag of dog****.
He should get four years to build his own team with his own players. But he won't.
What elite coach has ever, EVER needed four years at a powerhouse school to turn it around (without sanctions)?
Texas is a powerhouse in name only. Their upperclassmen talent is horrendous. Count the Longhorns in next April's draft. This was a rebuild.
And nobody is saying Strong is in the class of Saban or Meyer. But to say he's a bad coach ignores everything he did before Texas.
