Look just like us, undisciplined and lost.

Texas = Miami (on the field)

Yeah, Strong is in year two and Golden is in year 5. I'm not sold on Strong!

Disagree.

Strong was set up for failure. He is done after this season and Miami would be fools to pass on him

Strong built Louisville into a really good program. The wheels fell off at Texas long before he got there

Was he set up for the worst 3rd down success rate in CFB? Was he set up to have horrendous special teams? Was he set up to throw screens short of the first down marker on 3rd down? Who does this sound like? Hmmm..

when things start to go downhill they just snowball. But i think he's better than Golden. Golden tricked a lot of people.

How was he set up? **** some people say Golden was set up if that's the case and the wheels had fallen off long before he got here. So Strong does not get that pass with me. But hey, I'm not the one writing the check.

I want Golden gone 2 years ago, but you can not tell me Strong was set up! If he was set up what kind of situation Golden walk into?

Yep. And the thing is he went in to Texas with no idea about anyone on the team, a QB battle, and terrible depth. He would come to Miami with a franchise QB, Jack Allison after that, with Shireffs and Rosier as well to compete. (If people think he needed Teddy to win at UL, well now hes got Brad) He would also have 12 deep on OL returning, Coley, Berrios, Cager, Lewis at WR, all 4 legit weapons at TE, a stable of 4 RBs returning (if you include Gus) as well as some solid ones in 2016 class.

He would have Chad, AQM, Moten, Jenkins, Norton, Willis, etc on DL. I think Burns and Corn would stay another year with Strong to learn from a real coach and that would make a good secondary too. Only issue is LB, but Shaq and Zach are coming in to go along with Grace, Young, etc.

He would come into Miami much better off, know a lot of guys on the roster, and no question marks at QB is the biggest difference he would have here vs Texas.

I think Texas player have quite on him already. Looks like they arent even trying. I think he would be better then golden here but then again I can get some optimist coaches better then golden.

I guess you never heard of this guy Bobby Petrino......

Just stop guys. He's in his second year at a school with unlimited resources and his team is ABYSMAL. Without Teddy, a joke schedule, and the ability to accept any ****** into the school, he's clearly not a good coach. I've never seen a fanbase so loyal to guys bc of the color of their skin. It's unreal.

Texas is worse than Miami. We should not hire Strong. It's too risky. We needs a real coach

Charlie would inherit a way better situation than that dumpster fire he received in Texas. BoT would be fools to pass on him if Texas fires him at the end of the year. I think he'd be more than willing to take a paycut to come here and I have a feeling he would view it as a better situation for him long term than Texas. I mean the majority of the heavy hitting donors didn't even want him for various reasons, plus he's had to fix a lot of broken relationships on the recruiting front down there as well.

Many, many of the big time donors did not want Strong at Texas. He was on the hotseat before he ever coached a game. Texas roster was completely depleted when Strong took the job. Now the AD has been fired and people are calling for Strongs head 14 games into his career there. It's a wrap everyone in Texas knows it.

What has he accomplished as a coach that makes him a legit candidate?

He has the most resources of any coach in America, and he is TERRIBLE. Absolute garbage.

But does this explain what we see on tv? I see the same if not worse that I see when Miami play.

Strong is not the answer, he is beyond average.

I honestly don't get it with some of you guys. We have Golden for many reasons but 1 is he is a conservative *****. Strong is the same **** way, he had Teddy B and a **** load of offensive talent in a bad conference. He had their offense running at a slow pace.

Fire someone and then bring in someone similar.
