Not sure why all of the Strong hate. Didnt you see how he had those south florida boys boys playing in UL, that was Miami Football. And his OC was great with Teddy(not sure if still with him). I want Patterson or Butch or Herman but will take Strong Too.

You guys got too enamored watching him gut Folden. You didn't watch any of the other Louisville games like when he lost to Cristobag or to a couple other overmatched teams.

Did you watch him get humiliated by TCU or completely embarrassed by one of the worst teams in D1, Iowa State? You can't excuse or explain your way around the HC at Texas getting emasculated by an awful Iowa State team.

Just be happy Texas took the bullet in hiring ******* based off the Louisville hype and that we didn't. Instead, we got guys looking to take the poison pill away from Texas and swallow it at um. Ouch.

When he coached at uf his defenses were the same way in the best conference. Saying Charlie strong can't coach is just ridiculous. Charlie strong is just a bad fit at Texas just like golden was a bad fit at miami

He is a bad fit when he has to coach the WHOLE team at a better conference than the Big Yeast.

Folden is a bad fit anywhere that they expect to win more than 8 games. You know what that means? It means he sucks and is only a good fit at a loser program happy going from AIDS to herpes. Take this bad fit faqgitry away from my face.

If you didnt follow recruiting when Strong was at UF, ND, and UL, you really dont have a clue.

Strong is as close to Butch as there is right now and he's younger.

He's having to change an entire CULTURE at UT and that, without a doubt, is one of the hardest things to do in his profession.

He was never given a fair shot at UT and some of you dont know enough about the situation here to understand it.

If you have an opinion on him and want to "sound" intelligent, go read about him and what he's up against from reputable sources.

I can understand if Strong lost a few close ones this year.

It wouldn't matter if David Duke was the athletic director and it was 1920, there is no excuse for losing to Iowa St 24-0.

You should be fired on the spot and never given another heads coaching job.

Texas personnel was bad when he got there and he got rid of some who were even worse. The dude is doing a full rebuild. It is not a plug and play situation like it would be here or like Michigan. He still doesn't have the personnel there but beat OK an KS, dude can coach. I MIGHT want Herman more but I like Strong resume over Herman. Plus he would kill it in recruiting down here. I don't think he his as good a coach as Patterson, but he is still **** good and I think a better coach than Butch.

Is his personnel worse than Iowa State? If you say yes to insist on a heel dig just kill yourself.

His culture was good enough to beat Oklahoma. Then a couple weeks later the culture wasn't good enough to beat one of the worst teams in FBS.

Stop trying to portray yourselves as college football experts just because you are willing to make every excuse in the book for a guy who is doing a horrific job. If he was the HC here and was on his way to 5 wins in year 2 and getting embarrassed on and off the field with every move he makes everyone here would be killing him.

It's a good HCs job to change culture without having to kick everyone off the team or fire and humiliate publicly his own hand picked assistants after 14 games. He's handled that situation horribly and has been a major failure on the big stage.

Strong sucks but I'm not surprised that people defend him. After all, look how long it took our fans to realize that Golden was the worst coach in the history of the program. Low-IQ posters for the most part.

This is a point that is not being made enough. There are a ton of similarities between Butch and Strong. Defensive guys, expert talent evaluators, issues with coordinators.

I prefer Butch because he's already been there with this program, but if he's not an option Strong brings many of the same strengths and weaknesses to the table.

Chise Iowa State is the best 3-5 team in the country, so take that into consideration. These heel diggers never give in.
