I want Kirby Hocunt to die a slow, painful death.
He was almost orgasmic describing why they voted Clemson over Miami.
Oh, sure, it was the MASSIVE AUBURN WIN. Yeah, they beat Auburn by a touchdown at home, while they LOST to Syracuse, a team that WE BEAT.
Oh, sure, Miami hasn't beaten a winning team on the road. Yeah, but we WOULD HAVE DONE SO if not for a HURRICANE.
Oh sure, Clemson has victories over 6 teams with winning records...and Miami has FIVE victories over teams with winning records, and it would have been SIX...if not for a HURRICANE.
And to top it all off, that weasel was our AD, and he knows **** well that most of the Power Five actively tries to avoid scheduling Miami. That little troll got us locked up in multiple games with nearly every college in Florida (except for Florida), because it was the best he could do.
Once again, the CFP Committee finds a way to reward failure over success, even though they have the second-easiest comparative stat in existence (common opponents) that would easily justify ranking Miami over Clemson (we beat Syracuse right after Syracuse beat Clemson).
Sure, wins don't matter. Let's just rank Clemson higher because they beat one more team with a winning record, or because they have road victory over a team with a winning record.
Good lord, the ridiculous bullsh!te that the CFP Committee uses to justify moving a team with a loss over an undefeated team from the same goddamned conference.
And I'm sure that the former Miami AD, the current Clemson AD, the former Notre Dame head coach, and the former Virginia Tech coach don't have ANY bad feelings towards Miami...
