These rankings are the absolute best possible scenario for Miami. My fear was OU at 2, Miami at 3 and Clemson at 4? Losing to a #4 Clemson team in the ACCCG would have ended our season. Now Clemson is 2 with a legit shot at moving to [URL=https://www.canesinsight.com/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1]#1 [/URL] in the next 2 weeks. You have to put a few things In perspective, we just beat the ever loving **** out of the number 3 ranked team...and Clemson barely won against a 3-5 team...they move up 2...we move up 5. We basically did auburn, WISKY, and Clemson a solid by beating ND.

Now, I honestly don't care what rank we are with 3 games still to play. If season ended today, We're in and that's what matters. But I don't like this bad win good loss bull**** they keep using to justify not dropping teams, or moving them up. The committee suffers from consistency. Like, it's more possible a 1 loss p5 team will get left out over a 2 loss team.

Miami losing on the last game of the year is absolutely jumped by Ohio State winning out or Auburn winning out.

There's not even a discussion, it's an absolute lock, especially with Michigan jumping back up into the Top 25 mix.

The only 1 or 2 loss teams that wouldn't jump a 1 loss Miami team is Notre Dame and Penn State. I wouldn't put it past them to put a 11-2 USC in ahead of either.

For all you guys that keep saying we are knocked out with a loss, that happens regardless of whether we are ranked number 2 or number 3. There is not going to be 2 ACC teams in the playoffs. Regardless of where we are ranked now, the game against Clemson is a battle for who gets the ACC spot.

For the record, I think this entire committee thing is ridiculous. There is a complete disregard for the fact that in football people get injured. What they are saying with Clemson is that because you lose a game, it doesn't really matter if the committee can justify it. Your quarterback getting popped and being hobbled should not excuse losing to an inferior opponent.
