CFP moving to 24 teams

Not necessarily true on the unified front. We still ended up w/ wild card games in the NFL and MLB. Then play ins for the NBA and NCAA hoops.

While I don't like it either, it's a sign of the times that everyone is trying to generate more and more revenue anyway they can. Why I don't ever want to hear complaints bout the players getting paid legally. Cause this just made a lot of money for the best HC's and the bunch that are slightly above average since they can point at making the playoffs.
 
I love it. I’ve noticed across the internet from those who want to keep it at 12 teams but don’t like 24 are repeating the exact same lines they have when the 12 team was expanded and when the 4 team playoff was introduced. Folks are going to complain no matter what. The regular season will always matter.

Those are decisions made as a league for the good of the sport.

Right now, we have self-interested conferences that bring absolutely zero added value. That structural flaw is the source of every problem in college football. Nobody is making decisions for the sport as a whole.
 
Just make the entire season an elimination round for everybody at this point. The moment you lose a game, season is over

That bull**** would atleast be more entertaining than how these dip****s are continuing to ruin the entire sport for the sake of the Bible Belt

College football was all about every game meaning something. I essentially don’t watch any other team now that it moved to 12 and wouldn’t at all if Miami sucked still.

Why dilute a great product? Oh right. $

Can’t wait for a barely bowl eligible team winning it all from the sec

Yes, I love the early 2000s, when the Canes were the kings of the mountain in college football. A 4-team playoff made sense back then.

BUT the SEC, Big Ten, and even the University of Miami administration have all made past decisions that have hurt the Canes.

I don’t give a **** about the SEC, ACC, or Big Ten as conferences. I only care about the Canes!

Yeah, I may still not like how this thing is set up, but I still think there’s an opportunity to keep the bowl games involved. Have the first round of the playoffs consist of 8 games, then give home-field advantage to the conference champions or the top 8 teams.

After that Sweet 16 round, you have 7 games left, which could rotate just like the current format.

That’s where I’m coming from. I’m not trying to fight the system or argue about what should have happened in the past.

JUST GIVE THE CANES A TICKET TO THE DANCE! Let us ball baby ball..
