CFB Teams Covid Updates

So it seems that the men's Lax team threw a big off-campus party and the men's basketball team needed to be reminded to stay on campus.... Football team is NOT too happy with the rest of the athletes at UNC right now...

Practice is going to resume there today..
 
Dumba$$ students effin sucking down each others nasty a$$ diseases.....UNC the #1 public health institution in the USA didnt have the common sense to pull back from students on campus.

Doesn’t seem to be an issue around here at all outside of campus. IMO not as big of deal as they are making it seem. Seems like it’s all precautionary.
 
Didn’t UNC just resume all athletic practice again after the players were fine?

It appears, again, the student body just coming back to campus, are the problematic individuals.

Perception is reality. You cannot have 30 percent plus positivity rate and not have people freak out.. If one school doesnt have their **** together it will get whole league delayed/shutdown.. Its a big deal.

Yes they did. People see positive tests and freak out for no reason. This has not impacted the football season a bit.

Until there’s a real outbreak amongst a team, it’s not a big deal. This is gonna happen across every campus nationwide. Kids aren’t gonna lock themselves in dorms and apartments.

Practices are already back on. Non issue.

Thank u; I knew I wasn’t tripping.

Fellas (and my ladies who post): THIS VIRUS IS AFFECTING THOSE NOT FOLLOWING HYGIENIC PROTOCOLS. Hormonal, “know it all” teenagers (think back to when you were younger) are most likely going to contract this virus quicker due to the aforementioned descriptions. HOWEVER, it’s been proven by the NBA, NRL, NHL, PGA that if athletes have been tested, and kept isolated from the outside world, they are going to be fine.
It’s also been proven that most athletes, (and when I say most, I’m saying 98% of them) that have tested positive, regardless of being asymptomatic or full symptomatic, have recovered fully.

Finally; do not let MLB scare anyone. MLB is the one example of how **** poor leadership & no planning can lead to utter disaster. They had minimal safety protocols, b/c owners & players were too concerned on how money would be distributed. The commissioner, who’s one of the worst in sports, was too busy trying to figure out how can he fit in a personal massage w/ social distance, instead of mediating a practical and safe working environment. MLB players were breaking protocols b/c in actuality, there were none. But even those guys recovered.

I was hella skeptical about this season, and jaded b/c of those close to me affected by Covid and dying; BUT they all had underlining problems, as well, so I found out. So, in essence, Covid just added fuel to an existing fire, even if it was mild flame.

Stop letting these reports about kids coming back to school scare u; this is to be expected, especially since most r more than likely asymptomatic and had no idea they had the virus until properly tested. Plus, it’s now coming out that one of the major labs in NJ have been accused of providing false positive test!

Keep the boys isolated; make sure protocols are in place, and we’ll have a very successful season. Shame on the B1G & PAC-12 for bailing out. If they are worried bout Covid, Spring ain’t gone do chit for them, b/c this mug will still be around.
