For the most part, it should be a culmination of Scout, Rivals, ESPN, etc. We should have a baseline that we start with and then allow users (preferably in the know) start amending the data.

While I am all for a collaborative effort, the DB should be locked down the day before, the day of, and the day after Signing Day. Only allow a few users to edit the information as LOI's roll in. I dont want to pre-eFAPulate because some one thought they would play a joke and put Goldman as LOI-Enrolled.

Edits have to be approved my the moderators now anyway so I don't think we'll have to worry about the LOI part.

I'll get to work tonight. There should obviously be a "Real Dr. Lu" section at the bottom of player profiles.

Does a video linked to the player in the profile, have to be a video hosted on this site or our youtube?

I tried linking a video, but the preview doesn't come up on the page and you can't click on it to go to the video on youtube.

Lil help?
 
It has to be one in our library. If it is on youtube but we don't have it then add it to our library and enter the video id number.
 
if anyone has anyone of the recruits on twitter either post their names here or add it yourself and I will approve. AJL twitter is private and Dewey just deleted his.

I think we got 4 or 5 twitter accounts in the profiles right now.

Also if when you input a video if you get a syndication error that means whoever put the video on youtube won't allow it to be shared. We have run into that a few times.

Wouldn't it be better to allow the embed of youtube videos because it will save you bandwidth?

The youtube videos in our library are still embeded on youtube, so we arent using any. The issue is for me to allow youtube links I would have to only allow youtube. In our library we can add video from other sources as well like vizmeo. When you enter the video id it just fills in the link.

field65 is the id number
field64 is the description

If nothing gets entered it defaults to 1

Wow, I step away for one second and looks what pops up. Amazing job Andrew, Larry and everyone. Once I finish the recruiting video library I'll dive in on this with you fellas.
