Canes with the third-most players on NFL opening rosters

I don’t this is true, outside of greg Olsen , Campbell, gore , bailey, Miami doesn’t of have many canes in the league from 2005-2009 eras that were drafted in those yeaes

Should have said elite guys, not just guys.

We haven't put a superstar into the league in a long time.

The other interesting thing about that list, outside of McIntosh, is there a player on the list that most thought should not have left early, who were very good players for us? #interesting

Not many schools have. But Miami has put quality talent in the league with a lot having outplayed their draft position

Lamar Miller, Duke johnson, Oliver Vernon

Which shows we have enough talent but we have largely underperformed. What’s interesting about all of this since 2010 or so we have probably averaged in recruiting rank per year 15-20th or so in the country but yet are #3 in nfl players on active rosters? That’s pretty **** impressive and our recruiting classes clearly produce more nfl guys regardless of what they are ranked compared to a lot of programs excluding bama and Ohio state who annually get higher ranked classes on average than Miami. Either Miami’s classes were severely under ranked or development is just taking place .

We have 17 legit starters. 1 borderline mvp on defense in Calais. A lot of potential pro bowlers but not many all pro candidates. 4 tight ends that will start and could be pro bowl level.

When we talk about talent being wasted, it's not CIS hype. It's numbers like this.

My other takeaway is that Alabama is starting to separate itself. Those stacked classes are adding up, even if some of their players peak in college.

Their longevity isn’t the greatest, but you are right, blue chips typically make it to the league

Was going to say the same thing. We do need some younger All-Pro talent though. That would help improve perception and recruiting imo.

The board of directors and the entire administration should be ashamed at the results and it’s taken them so many years to try and correct the product we’ve put on the field. Just think if they gave a ****, we would be killing it still. Can’t wait to see us develop players at a high level again.
We are run by people who dont give AF.. That is facts, they dont want to invest in program and feel entitled to talent in local area while not investing in themselves.. That has only seemed to change in last couple years but we again hired a inexperienced HC for cheap, it seems like a good match but that is also a fact unfortunately. Lets Pray Manny has it.

We really need some of the younger guys to take the next step and I think they will. Guys like Njoku, Herndon, Duke, Perryman, McIntosh, Dorsett, Linder, etc. OV should have a monster year in Cleveland.

Some people have it just goes unnoticed. Linder is one of the highest paid lineman at his position. Duke has been one of the most productive players at his position per touch and will be featured this year with Miller sidelined. Njoku and Herndon are regarded as 2 of the best young tight ends. Dorset had the highest catch rating of all the receivers for the patriots last year and Brady loves him. Lamar Miller has the most rushing yards in the league since 2014(obviously that will change with him not playing this year). And that’s just a few names.

Miami has 4 starting olineman in the league right now
Henderson for the texans
Linder for the jaguars
Jon feliciano for the bills
Ereck flowers for Washington
Danny Isidora possibly can start for the dolphins
