Canes Travis Home & Jeff Thomas turning heads on offense

But some of y'all still worried about who the 4th string running back is going to be like that's going to have a big impact on the season.... Homer is going to ball. He's the most athletic running back on the roster

Why would anyone worry about the position that has the shortest shelf life ? We are crazy.

When has Miami in the last 5 years have the 4th string running back take on meaningful carries or ones that came impact the season

Lol are you serious? Dallas Crawford ring a bell?. Do i need to mention Georgia's situation a few years ago?

Nobody is discounting Homer and Waltons abilities but injuries happen.

Starting DT/RB/and TE are dangerously thin.

not 5 years ago, but 2008 comes to mind when James, Cooper and Berry were all hurt/out and Lee ******* Chambers carried the mail against Cal in the bowl game that year.

Cooper was literally our leading rusher that game

Been telling everyone JT4 is going to be a star from Game 1. Guys like Harley and Deejay are really good but JT is just special. Absolutely electric with the ball, unreal body control, and plays aggressive (would be a stud CB too).

Only issue with him in HS is that he'd sometimes take plays off or be disintereted because he was so much better than the competition. Dugans will get him right real quick though.

This is college, self-correcting problem...you take a play off, you get embarrassed.

Dallas Crawford was second string behind duke not 4th....

And let's be real about the situation Travis homer is ALOT MORE talented than Crawford......

True but that was an anomaly though because it didn't really happen often in the last 10 years or so

Brock was still picking marshmellows out of his lucky charms on floor in front of the TV in 2008.

My point exactly, Dallas Crawford should've never been an even 8th string RB at Miami. Just like Gray and Burns shouldn't be our 3rd or 4th string RB's. Just stop man.

We saw trayone gray dominate top ranked competiton in Miami when he was at carol city against 2 of the fastest defenses in the country in booker t Washington and Miami central....

Robert burns is an elite athlete per his spark testing numbers and was a high 5 star before injuries piled up on him. That talent certainly didn't disappear .... from a size and speed standpoint he's the most gifted running back Miami has signed in years since Lamar miller at least and it's not close

True but that was an anomaly though because it didn't really happen often in the last 10 years or so

Bruh, lack of quality depth at RB, has probably hurt us just as much as bad coaching in the last however many mediocre years. If Golden signs Cook & that kid that went to Arkansas, He'd probably still be our HC.

Golden could have the 2001 roster and he'd still find a way to lose at least 3 games

Please stop, Trayone was QB in high school and hasn't done **** since he got here besides get passed up by Homer and get injured. Burns has less than 100 carries his entire HS career i don't want to hear **** about what he did in shorts. Brad Kaaya had more rushing attempts in college in 3 years than Burns had in 4 at high school. AND BURNS IS STILL INJURED. GRAY IS COMING OFF MAJOR SURGERY. How are you not comprehending this.

Or if Storm Johnson stayed.

A 4th string running back is not impacting the season, again go look at the Miami 4th string running backs that have received carries over the last 5 years. None have received more than 30 carries

We have
Mark walton
Travis homer
Trayone gray
Robert burns
Deejay dallas potentially(Richt has said he will play some running back too)

Quit worrying about stupid sh*t....

We have our #1 rb established.#2 running back THOUROUGHLY established and 3 guys after that in gray, burns and dallas....

We have more important issues to worry about like the qb competition not a 4th string running back spot that's not going to impact the season like that...

Not when you have question marks at QB.

And like I said, when McGahee went down in that NC, we were stuck with Payton.

When Duke went down against Duke in 13', we were stuck with Crawford.

When Bratton went down against OU in the 85' NC, it didn't matter.

Quality depth at RB matters dawg.

I don't want us to win games until we prove that we can have a quality 5th string RB

Until then, we're all hype

We need to start a poll for whether Bruhck was dropped more on his head or ate more paint chips.
