they actually hyped up our new uniforms only to change them 6 months later. we never even wore orange pants on the road lol
I bet this is why we couldn't flip the Jones kid from mighty FIU. He knew this deal with Adidas was going down. Al is fighting like a wounded jackal to flip FIU recruits, and now they throw this Adidas cloud at him.
FIU is Adidas also

There was one?
Miami switching off of Nike is a direct result of the University having no strong booster presence and no significant donations back into the university by former players.
There's a reason why OSU, Oregon and Alabama can play for contracts well below market value, they have boosters that more than make up the difference.
This is one of the few ways that UM can actually infuse the program with significant money. It's not the ideal situation, but it is what it is.

Yeah I'm sure bama and Ohio State are taking less than what they can get because they're good with getting less than market value. Get the fck outta my face with that ****.
Rest assured when their contracts are up they will get whatever the market value is and then some regardless of how many donors they have. You clowns are reaching to look for reasons to skewer the fans and prop up busted *** UM.

They are living off their past and the gap is closing, huh? LBJ, Kobe, KD, Melo, CP3, Dirk, Griffin, Jimmy Buckets, Pau Gasol, Mark Gasol, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Chris Bosh, Klay Thompson....etc. Brazil, Italy, Germany, USA, Canada, Switzerland...etc....OSU, FSU, BAMA, UF, LSU, OU, OU, OSU, UT...etc.
What do they all have in common? Not only are all of the aforementioned represented by Nike, but they have been winners since 2000. Either in the olympics, playoffs, or respective individual sports. Nike align themselves w/ winners, period.
Everyone was talking about how TAMU is doing just fine recruiting head to head w/ UT and TAMU is an Adidas school....are you seeing what's happening this recruiting cycle?? UT is smoking the **** out of TAMU. TAMU had a glimmer of hope when UT was down, but now that they have an equally good coach, all of those TAMU locks flipped to UT and UT had a bad year this yr.
It's the same thing w/ UCLA v. USC. UCLA got big recruits only b/c USC was down, now that USC is off of sanctions, you're not hearing any kids going to UCLA.
Kids are kids...they want to be associated w/ what's hot and Nike is what's hot. All of the sports video games have Nike as the optimum success in career modes. The NIKE Sparq camp is still the end all camp for all big time recruits.
The only competition to Nike in the football world is Under Armour, and we didn't even switch to them!!! We went w/ a company that specializes in European designs. Trust and believe FSU will continue to smoke us on the recruiting trail. This is another neg recruiting method that they and UF can use against us.
Hey, $3million per year will take care of each remaining year of Golden's contract, even if we have to pay full the amount when he gets thrown out.
