If we pull this kid I won't say **** else about Jethro's recruiting (coaching is still fair game).

I was wondering WTF he said to this kid to have him eliminate us in June after an OV. Redeem yourself, Deathrow!

who is this dieter guy? i know he is with the sun sentinel and i used to follow him but he annoyed me so i unfollowed. seems to think he knows a lot about the guy,

All I know is that with our depth, a DT who can make an "immediate impact at Miami" is a "game-changer." We won't be superstars at that position for a year or two, but we need more than just actual bodies at the position in the meantime. Guys like Wyche and Lou should give us some talented breathing room at the position.

This. I hate the long drawn out BS especially when people are already privy to what your decision is. It goes to show you, these kids want some kind of shine, even if it's for 5-10 minutes.
 
i doubt a kid who was all set to announce for a school just chooses another school b/c the coach said something too early.

"Calvin Heurtelou is one of the more physically imposing players across the country. The 6-3, 305-pound defensive tackle encompasses a 445 pound bench press, 575 pound squat and 300 pound hang clean."

I hope he signs with us on Monday. Dude will be one of the strongest guys on the team... not just a big guy, but a strong, big guys that can move!

Squat: 575 would put him at #1 on the team, ahead of DP at 555. also ahead of Porter who tested at 535.
40: 4.98 - this puts him right behind Chicklo who tested at 4.88 and he become the only other OL/DT or big DE to run under 5.0
Bench: 445 would put him 3rd on the team behind King and Linder
Clean: 300 clean is not too impressive but overall a great athlete
 
JETHRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My bad if this was already said but this kid came with Smothers waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back and seemingly didn't like the visit because he was sure that UM needed him to commit on the spot but in the past month he was told that wasn't true and I guess we blew him away
