By far the worst loss in my 35 years as a fan

My fondest memories as a child and teenager were in the OB. My Dad grew up in North Miami. I was there in 07 when Virginia wiped the ground with us. All the coaching changes, failures on and off the field.

This is without a doubt, bar none, the lowest I’ve ever felt about this team. From the agreement to play this game in the first place, on hallowed ground (as the visiting team). Walking in there I had a very uneasy feeling. Not an excited nervousness or anticipation, but a why the **** are we even here feeling?

I don’t need to go into detail about play calling and all that, we all saw the same sack of ****. But this was worse than UVA. Hearing that ******* DJ say “make noise FIU like it was their turf might’ve been the worst part. And our guys did nothing about it.

Trash the chain, the TD rings, all the flashy ****. This team is drywall. Stands up to decent tests but folds when it gets hit in the mouth by someone who wants it more. I never thought I’d see what I saw today.

Burn it all down. Top to bottom. Blake James should be fired effective immediately. All the recruiting momentum we had is gone. Bye. So long. The program is on life support. Idk what else to say, I am absolutely beside myself.

One may wonder, just how bad is the current state of our program? Well, after tonight, being kings of the State of Florida is no longer a major goal, especially when you can't even be the prince of your own **** city.

So beating Randy Shannon is a coaching accomplishment?

Shannon was at UM - Butch took over a really, really bad UNC team - won like four games the year before.

And YOU want to compare the two?

I'll give you your comparison - FIU is a lesser talented team than UM - and Butch showed them how to beat our azzes.

UNC was a lesser talented team AT THAT TIME than UM - and Butch led the to beat our azzes then, too.

Get it?

Tried to tell you guys this team couldn’t give two shyts about the “hallowed grounds.” But, of course, the simps had to show me quotes from Al Blades and Jarren Williams about how much they revered the “hallowed grounds.” Then those two guys played their worst games as Canes.

Agreed on the loss and in the exact time interval.

They were huddling and walking around late when down by three scores because they were still overconfident they would suddenly come back and win. There was no actual plan or strategy (or effort) to actually do so.

Absolute trash.

I remember early third quarter and they were snapping the ball with like five seconds left. They cost themselves at least two possessions.

Why not speed it up since what you were doing wasn't working? And what do you know they finally score when they speed it up.

That's all on coaching.

I mean, technically, we picked right back up where we left off last time we were on said hallowed grounds. Maybe that's what they meant?

Been a fan since 97... and I might be out. Idk yet, I'll see what I have going on next Saturday. There's no coming back from losing to Butch 4 Manny. If he has any shot of doing so, he needs to either Fire Enos immediately, or immediately change the style offense he needs to run. They need to be in the pistol and gun running Tempo like yesterday.

Make sure you wipe up after yourself.
