Bring Me Matt Corral Gables At Once

From 247 today....VIP scoop. Fo all those doubting brooklyndee

4-star QB Matt Corral (Florida commit) – It’s a little known fact that Corral actually visited Coral Gables in July of 2016 while he was committed to USC. At the time Miami wasn’t really interested in the U.S. Army All-American because of his pledge to the Trojans, but once Corral decommited from the local school he made sure to reach out to the Hurricanes before eventually committing to Florida. Jim McElwain’s exit in Gainesville reportedly doesn’t change a thing about where things stand with Corral and the Gators, but the looming coaching change could work in UM’s favor should they elect to get involved in the recruitment.

In other words, he quietly visited, reached out to us after he decommitted to commit to us, we said no, so he committed to the gaytors.

Are there better options out there?
Seems like a kid that is virtually guaranteed to get suspended.
I guess if the talent is worth the risk take a chance but if we have a less risky option that would be best.

Timeline dont match. It says he visited july 2016 which would be a year ago. He was dropped by usc this year.

Don't think Brett Favre was even good in college anyways.

Farve was a bad *** gun slinger in college. He almost singlehandedly beat FSUhis last year...

Put the crack down. Timeline does match. Your reading comprehension doesn’t. Corral quietly visits Miami in 2016 still as a usc commit. Decommitts this year, 2017. Contacts Miami And is interested in committing. Miami says no. Calls gaytors and commits.

I would love to see Corral in Coral Gables. One of the best looking QBs I have seen in ages (caveat being that highlights of a QB mean even less than at any other position). But as many have said, CMR won´t take him because he won´t keep him. Wrong decision imo, but maybe that´s why I´m on a message board and he´s in the coach´s office.

Someone is smoking crack.

Favre led Southern Mississippi to an upset victory over F$U in 1989, the year that Miami won a national championship after losing to...F$U.

Favre had a 116.6 QB rating over 4 years at Southern Miss and was drafted high in the 2nd round (33rd overall).

Favre was great in college.

He also beat Alabaga and Awwburn on the road in the same season.

Uh huh.

Just like little Olsen was "destiny"

He created his future with his bad habits.

He'll never set foot at Miami.

We have enough time to find a quality QB in this class - because Sitkowski clearly was not it.

just look at that name....its destiny. NOW NOW NOW.

What did Olsen do in high school that was that awesome? Corral had thrown more in one season than Olsen's whole career. Just like Stits, a nobody when it came to actually playing just in high school. All maybe potential type QBs instead of on the field performance. Corral has been killing it his whole career and can throw it over 70 yards. Does a lot of double pumps looking for several receivers at a time instead of locking down on one.

I think you need to know a bit more about the Corral story. It has nothing to do with his performance on the field.

There was a reason USC dropped him.

So was Danny Marino. Ice cold beer lover and lover of the nose beerz too. You think that quick release was ALL natural?
