Brayden Lenius shows off athleticism

Lenius is from Canada who just hit making the rounds in the US..hes only 16 years old too! His performance against Sierra sold me. Dude dominated against a team loaded with division 1 talent in the secondary.

Doesnt matter. He's a 2 star "nobody" according to our recruiting experts on here. Some people here dont seem to understand that if a kid doesnt make the rounds of the camp circuit, and they havent been playing at a visible program for at least a few years, its very possible for them to fall through the cracks, or at least be late bloomers in recruiting.

The REAL funny thing, is that WSU has offered him. And who is the HC at WSU? None other than the "Offensive Genius Pirate" that half this board has been s*cking off for years and dreaming was our HC.

Watching a 6'5 dude dunk a basketball isn't all that exciting. Any 6'5 dude should be able to dunk easily from a standstill. And I've yet to see a highlight tape that sucks.

The most concerning thing with this guy is that the local schools aren't all over him. If he's this can't miss guy that our fans are making him out to be, then it's kind of odd that USC, UCLA, Stanford, and even the lesser local schools didn't go all-in on him. I want to know what the knock is on him, and I don't want to hear that he just got here from Canada because if UM knows about him, then the local schools know about him too.

The closest was Dimitri Stewart's tape. And even then, you had mofos sayin that "he's better than I expected" smh

Yep. No such thing as a bad highlight tape. And when fans are down in the dumps and downtrodden they'll talk themselves into thinking we're loading up on Golden Nuggets that all of the other big time programs passed on. Golden didn't even want these guys because he wouldn't be trolling for them if he didn't miss on the guys he actually wanted.

Al's like the dude who gets turned down by all the chicks he wants and then has some water buffalo come over in the still of the night to climb on top of.

The aforementioned Mike Evans was not a superior 6'5 athlete in high school AND he was lighter in the *** than Brayden is

Once again, people are reaching for the negative. Relatively speaking, the kid is an outstanding athlete for his size and plays to his measurements by high pointing the football and using his body to shield defenders.

NOt just his **** measurables. LOOK at the production!!! Kid only played HALF the season as a senior. MOREOVER, he was UNSTOPPABLE in the STATE Championship game, playing against LEGIT division 1 competition.

Forget about the "highlight" tape for a second. When it COUNTS, the kid BALLED out. Cant ask for much more confirmation of a kid's talent and potential than that.

Who has the staff found that other programs didnt catch til late?

Well in this class alone, Kaaya, and Jenkins. Jenkins was a nobody, and has now exploded his Senior year. Supposedly OSU has been after him for a while now, and he was supposedly the most dominant player at the Cheaspeake Bowl according to the media there. So that was a **** of a find.

Njouku has the potential to be that too. We were his first major offer, was a kid flying under the radar, now PSU, OSU and Bama are all calling and recruting him.

What hidden gem has Al unearthed. That all the other big name programs missed on thus far at Miami?

That is asking since being at Miami. Who has Al unearthed. That is currently, exceeding the expectations of said player. You guys claim they are finding talent that nobody else does until late in the game. Who in his classes, that have already been accepted. Leads you guys to trust that they find hidden talent?

I also found this to match your Jenkins Cheaspeake reference.

The Rivals analyst at the Chesapeake Bowl practices (Mid-Atlantic All-Star game) singled out Jake O'Donnell as a top performer. They said he's built like a big receiver or tight end right now, but was beating tackles with speed and leverage.

Good to hear.

how quickly people forget about Coley finding Kaaya...

Say what you want but, Coley brought in a top 5 RB and QB. Dude can recruit and has an eye for talent

I didn't know Kaaya played a down of D1 ball yet.

Kaaya's not a hidden gem. He's an Elite 11 QB with offers from USC and UCLA.

I can rip Golden but have to give them credit when they did something right. Coley found Kaaya before he was well thought of, his only other offer was SDSU. Only reason we are holding on to him now that everyone, UCLA, USC, offered is we had already built the relationship before he was a known commodity.

Yeah, we get it bro. Golden sucks and nothing he has ever done is good. Now you can start posting something else.

Kid had a monster game against Serra a secondary loaded with D1 talent and did it as a 16 year old literally having his way with them. But I guess since Rudolph and Lane arent coming here and Lenius didn't post a video of him doing a 360 thru the legs dunk on his instagram he is a scrub smh.

Today?

He's not as athletic as I expected

I gotta admit, I was expecting more. Most 6-6 WRs who run well can do that. Heck, I've seen shorter guys do what he does.

As for comparing griffin's vs these videos, iirc, griffin got higher and a lot of those clips were game clips. These clips are just messing around in a gym. Griffin, otoh, was dunking on foolseft and right with authority.

Agreed.

Unfortunately Griffin is a potato.

he wasn't when we "unearthed" him...

I trust Coley's evaluation..and don't be surprised if USC or UCLA come with a late offer

Remember that time Randy got shut out of elite south Florida kids and went across the country for questionable alternatives? Deja vu

Except for we didn't get shut out for elite south florida so... Not sure what your point is! SMH

Which elite WR did Al reel in? Which elite DT is he reeling in? Guy is a complete fraud just like our old coach was. Guys who can't coach lose recruiting momentum after a few seasons. We aren't winning a national title by picking up 3 star kids from thousands of miles away.

Not impressed to be honest. Then again, I've never seen him play football.
