Big update from Herald

Real question is are they gonna continue to let the baseball and basketball programs waste away? They need to be purged as much as football.
Don’t worry, Strawley will be looking after baseball and basketball.

I’m at the point I wish they would shut down the Miami program, so I can move on with my life.

Who has been the AD that was a Miami guy. Seriously I really don't remember

Doc Mallios. He's in the UM Sports Hall of Fame. Very involved with hiring a particularly successful coach, I forget his name, Howard something.

It's, literally, the reason you pay a fired coach millions of dollars. To be fair.

Exactly.

Coupled with his total incompetence and the fact he's the coaching hire equivalent of a Make A Wish kid getting his dream granted, it is really hard for me to muster up even a shred of sympathy for the guy.

What ADs currently have these programs firing on all cylinders?
Arkansas is set up the best out of anyone in the country. Best baseball program, basketball looking for another sweet 16 maybe a final 4 this year (with no signs of slowing down in either) and football is building into a respectable program in a real tough spot.

Honorable mention to Michigan this year bc they finally got over the OSU hump. Solid baseball with recent success and very good basketball.

If you wanna talk about potential, there are a handful with a chance to surpass Arkansas mainly bc of football. They’ll never be an elite football school again IMO.
