Now back to the original intent of what my post was for, if a person leaves for a pay increase to do the same job, I believe it would be hypocritical for anyone to criticize that person for doing it, as if you were offered a job in the same capacity for much more, you probably would take it.

I think you got me wrong. I am not in the least bit happy about it. All I said is we as fans loose perspective of the business side of these things. This is a business to coaches, they come and they go. Randy stayed loyal to this place till he was fired, then sued us. Butch up and left, and Jimmy up and left for.............MORE MONEY, but for the most parts are regarded as saints. Cogley left FSU for the U for what, to call plays and be closer to his home. We had Gators for position coaches Aubrey Hill, that left us for their alma matter just to up and left there shortly after?

People have come and people have left the program. It's going to happen. Sure, after 2 weeks, I think the really friggin sucks. To the best of my knowledge, he hasn't officially left yet. Either way, the business side of most everything is what is important for these guys, it is their profession as much as we want it to be something other. Do I like it, no. Am I grown up enough to deal with it, I believe so. Are others, we will see.

--Most importantly, is he even interviewing with Bama at all? There has been no confirmation of the original "report" as far as I know. So thus far, most folks on this board are crucifying Mario on the word of some internet chump without any corroboration.

How about let's allow this thing to play about before we go accusing anyone of being disloyal.

Coaches visit other schools all the time. Even if it's confirmed that he's at Bama, he could be checking out their strength program, or getting pointers on their nutrition program, or any host of other things that coaches do as part of their jobs.

I've seen no one confirm that he was there specifically to interview for a position, or that he has even talked to anyone about the possibility of a position.

As far as I can tell, it's all based on the 247Sports.com rumor and has not been independently confirmed. E.g, Sporting News is reporting that "According to 247Sports.com...", and the Herald is reporting that "according to a source".
