Barry Jackson's Wednesday Buzz- new S&C at UM

So Utough was complete garbage then? Along with everything else that potato instilled in this team.
We are not sophisticated enough to understand and appreciate what Al Golden did at Miami. At the end of the day, he worked his tail off to get it fixed and it was all on him.

I agree. Further, we were not sophisticated enough to truly understand Pillars and Core Values. We failed to shovel our fair share of Coal. After his firing (due to a 58-0 field raping), our dear Leader said these profound words: "I believe in what we are doing and how we are doing it"

Unfortunately, Sir Golden has to work his tail off somewhere else. Our loss!

Like Swasey couldn't make guys not finish a workout? Stupid article.

Exactly. We've heard this garbage before.

Agreed, people are just praying that things are drastically different than what we have become accustomed to over the past 5 years.

Based on the eye test Georgia's players would have curb stomped ours and then run a marathon. This isn't hard to believe.

Oh.....the same UGA that lost to the "Al Golden Equivalent" coached Tennessee and offensively challenged UF?

Not!

Any team with a slight pulse was capable of beating UGA on any given Saturday! That is why we have Mark Richt now.

You mean the same Tennessee team that had Alabama on the ropes in Tuscaloosa. Jones is stockpiling a lot of talent in Knoxville. And that's a very young team that will be a lot more experienced this year. Easily the best team in the SEC East this fall. Florida beat the crap out of Georgia because Bauta was just awful. Still Georgia won 10 games in a conference that went 9-2 in bowl season with a national championship to go along with it.

Tennessee is going to win the East. They lost to OU in 2 OT's, lost to Bama by 5, easily could have beaten both. Then lost two more games by 1 and 4 points respectively. They have a ton of momentum headed to spring ball and beyond.

Look, we know Bama is good. And yes, Butch Jones had his team prepared to play Bama, which Mark Richt failed to do. Hey, Butch Jones may be a better Big Game coach than Mark Richt. Who knows! Winning 10 games is not difficult for a 2nd/3rd tier coach like Mark Richt. MR didn't play the Big Boys every week. Plus, the SEC is very Top Heavy (Bama, UF and LSU)! A 2nd/3rd tier coach like Mark Richt can lose to all the Big Boys and still end up with 10 wins, which is what he typically did!

Your excuse as to why UF beat UGA is Garbage! MR recruited Bata and was supposed to develop him. I guess Richt failed!

Richt only beat UF once with Matthew Stafford as his QB.

Georgia was 5-3 in the SEC. They beat Vanderbilt, USCe, Missouri, Kentucky, and Auburn. Even Al would have been expected to win those games.

They got blown out by Florida and Alabama and played Tennessee close.

Nothing to brag about there and that's why he was fired.

But if he can bring his Georgia pipeline to our South Florida pipeline, we might be on to something great.

Al Golden like Tennessee? You mean the Tennessee that had 9 wins playing in the SEC, took Bama to the wire, finished ranked, and blew out a ranked opponent in their bowl game? Didn't know Golden could do that. Also, UF's offense didn't struggle until the end of the game.

ALL that aside, this years UGA would beat ANY Miami team over the last ten years.

Once again, UGA was soft and poorly coached in 2015!

FWIW I heard WQAM say that NFL scouts claim Georgia's athletes were some of the worst conditioned in the country. Putting them slightly above *** and his UFAT program.

Big-O. Scouts told him Miami was the worst conditioned team. Georgia the second worst.

Oh, well that's better. At least we might be trending up. Unless, Al doesn't get another team -- then do we inherit the last spot again?

When Golden was here you guys predicted losses to teams like Florida Atlantic. Now he'd beat 5 SEC teams. (Even though he got beat by one of those teams in last year's bowl) Stay whining my friends.

All hail Al Golden, SEC Giant Killer. Yeah sure you would have "expected" Al to beat Mizzou, Auburn, and mid tier SEC programs. Delusional. At least now I understand where the Donald Trump voters are coming from.

There are some concerns about Richt, I agree but UGA was one dimensional this year because their QB situation was horrid, like K Wright and Kirby horrid. Then their mega elite RB got injured and you get what you get.

Golden struggled to beat Virginia, Duke, Boston College, Wake Forest, Louisville and Maryland with NFL talent all over his roster....but I'm supposed to believe he'd beat 5 SEC teams lmaooo

5 Sh*tty SEC Teams!

Stop acting like the SEC is Dominant from Top to Bottom.

The SEC is nothing more than a Top Heavy Conference...Bama, UF and LSU. The rest are Wannabees!
