Barry Jackson’s new article. Blake and Manure are definitely feeling the heat!

At this point, I can't tell if Barry Jackson is getting his article ideas from a UM source or whether UM is just doing whatever Barry Jackson says. He said Miami needs to go to a spread, Miami declares they're going to a spread. He said Miami needed to hire Highsmith as a Football AD, Miami leaks that they're talking to Highsmith about a football Chief of Staff role.

It appears that Miami's primary concern is public opinion.

ALL HAIL BARRY JACKSON. YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN. BRING US TO THE PROMISED LAND!

i found barry to be well aware of the issues related to the program (and frustrated) when i spoke to him last year to let him know we were flying a banner.

he wasnt familiar with CIS or WEZ prior to talking with him. Compare his tone of writing in prior years to this year and theres no doubt he is scrolling these boards now

Or it appears that Barry Jackson is writing about is pretty logical—and Miami is following suit.

Diaz hinted at "elements of a spread" when looking or a coordinator this time last year. He went with Enos, they went 6-7 and it's back to the drawing board—where he's ready to go with a different approach.

Florida State and Virginia Tech both just hired guys in Chief of Staff & Football Operations roles—so again, seems to be a trend in the sport that Miami is following suit on. Hardly earth shattering.

Nobody is "feeling the heat"—as James flat-out said Frenk supports him and Diaz currently has the support of James and the BoT.

Any notion that Miami isn't trying to right the ship is laughable. No one is content with 6-7.

UM has made a lot of bad decisions over the past 15 years, but outside of Shalala not giving a **** about football—everyone else associated with this program doesn't like losing.

What is a Chief of Staff? Sound like a made up position to hire a washed up head coach.

Maybe he said it in one of the interviews (I've only read recaps), but has Manny, in anyway, taken responsibility for hiring Enos? It sure as **** doesn't seem that way. All the quotes I've read almost make it seem like he's trying to play it off as if HE wasn't the one to hire the guy. This is why I have zero faith in this imposter.

How naive are you to believe his words about “feeling the heat.” Hard to argue Miami is trying to right the ship when they don’t interview a single candidate for the god **** HC position job at the University of Miami. Instead, we hired a clown, who is in over his head, off a 6-6 record. Good, god, do you move mountains to protect these clowns. No one gives a **** about effort, fans want results!

You sound confused. There is a world of difference between not liking losing and doing what it takes to win, or even be competitive.

People around UM may not be content with how things are, but they sure haven’t demonstrated the slightest seriousness of purpose to change what’s broken.

You are excusing the most obvious negligence. No one should wonder why the program performs like it does.
