He’s too emotional and prone to fits of sissified nonsense. Knowles plays one decent game after 38 terrible ones in a row, and Coach Ted Lange is crowning him.

Loyalty? LOL. Why wouldn’t Knowles be loyal when he’s been stealing a $150k/year scholarship for 5 years?

This is college Chise'. Not the NFL. College coaches do stuff like this all the time. Lets not make it seem like Banda is on an island here.

That said, Knowles has earned any kudos that come his way after the all out assault he has gotten his whole career. Lets not be hypocrites here.

I have no idea why our own fanbase hate good coaches so much. Banda and Rumph have taken the most heat on here for 2 coaches who have consistently made sure the guys under them come to play week in and out. I think some of these dudes want Banda fired so they can take a shot at his wife or something. LOL. It doesn't make sense at this point.

Are you serious? Dabo Swinney is the biggest cornball in college. He does corny **** all the time. Its not the specific act of what Banda did its the fact that its corny and college coaches do corny ****. That's why most could never last in the NFL where being corny will get you fired.

Leave the man alone and let him be proud of Knowles. If yall haven't realized it by now, he has a special relationship with Knowles and is proud of the kid. Let it go.

i dont see the issue in banda sticking up for 20. 20 has received **** from the fanbase outside of this board and hes fully aware of it. we dont know what it did to 20 mentally. glad hes playing better this year and stepping up. kid didnt quit or run when the fanbase wanted him to. he just kept working on his craft. its a lesson some of the other kids on the team need to learn

Knowles went from being a liability on the back end, to being a solid ACC safety. He is doing his job out there, tackling well, and every once in a blue moon breaking up a pass. But he's not winning any awards or going all conference, and unless something crazy happens, he won't be drafted.

If Knowles was coming up with strip sack fumbles on key drives or putting up a chain 6, I could get behind this tweet. Under these circumstances it comes off as bragging that a guy is playing solid football for the first time in his career. Feels like a strange thing to pound your chest about as a coach. With tweets like this, Banda doesn't just run the bar, he lowers it.
