Frustrating that the lesser player, Norton, is the one who dictated the decision.

Proof?

Proof about which part?

That Norton's the lesser player? The proof is my eyes.

That Norton and RJ were going to make the same decision? Peter, RJ's dad.

That Norton decided first, and RJ followed? RJ's dad.

The Norton dictated RJs decision part. I missed where RJs Dad said that. Do you have a quote on it?

Do I have a quote on it? My dude, I don't catalogue my 'Canes news. You have Google just like I do.

But still, I did the hard part for you:

"McIntosh Sr. said Kendrick Norton decided to turn pro before Richard did and “once Norton made that decision, that helped convince Richard. I don’t know how they got to that. I don’t know what pushed Norton over the hump. If Norton had stayed, Richard would have. He felt it would be hard to come back without having Norton. I always felt it was going to be what one does the other one wanted to do, that’s how close they are.”

Well I’ll be damned. +rep

I don’t know why people keep saying McIntosh is going be a mid round pick. He’s going shoot up the boards a lot with combine and his tape. He could easily be a late first pick.

The tape's been there. He's feasted off teams like UNC, Syracuse, etc..

Against the big boys like Wiscy and Clemson, he got handled.

I wish him luck though. I'm curious as to how some think he's going to shoot off the boards with combine numbers. He's quick and likely will do good in the 40 and the shuttle run (what DTs should be measured on). But strength is something he needed to improve on.

I didn’t watch the Clemson game because I knew what the outcome would be and I will admit against Wisconsin it did seem like he mailed it in but his overall work especially against Norte Dames OLine is going get a lot of attention. Teams are going be wanting a disruptive DT like that.

these kids dont care about national titles, acc titles, being a 1st round pick. just like hte kids last year, they just leave to get drafted.

SAme thing happened to both Dolphins Defensive tackles who they drfated last year Davon GodChaux and Vincent Taylor They both left early and thought they would be 3rd round picks. And they went in the 5th and 6th rounds of the 2017 draft. I would say both were as talented or more talented then RJ Mcintosh

Looks like agents played a part in pumping sunshine on McIntosh's draft grade. Also interesting that Norton made the decision to jump first. I thought that McIntosh was going to be dictating how this would go.

▪ He said Richt, defensive coordinator Manny Diaz and defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski — during their meeting with the McIntoshes on Saturday — said they were told he would likely be a third- or fourth-round pick, but that agents told the McIntosh family that he would be picked “late first or no later than the third round.”

So looks like Norton signed with Malki Kawa, who I know Pete had on his Podcast in May and is one of his sauces. This site STAYS aligning itself with real *** hats that have no desire to help the program. If the Herald story is true, and McIntosh also signs with this guy, **** him for putting it in their heads that they are early round picks. Norton is going to be lucky to get drafted at all. You are the company you keep...

Careful.

Watch Miami's DTs against Clemson and then watch D'Shawn Hand against Clemson. People stating these guys will be early picks are either blind homers or people who have not watched any other teams play. Warren Sapp was a 1st round DT. Mac is a 3rd rounder and Norton might go undrafted.

No money, unless they are top tier with an agency. Many of these agents roll the dice with by fronting their players money, hoping it will pan out in the contracts. I have some friends that represent second tier baseball players, and said many of them never pan out as far as making them money. The agents in fact lose money in many cases.

Kawa a huge Cane fan? Hahha if he was he would’ve told Norton 5-7 rounder is what you are, when you get to a 3rd round level I will still be here to represent guy.

He isn’t looking out for Norton’s best interest.

This whole thing stinks through and through.....

Agents on the make, and inexperienced players and their families are a bad combination...it’s an imbalanced relationship with conflicting interests and lots of potential for abuse and trouble... not real happy with this developing info on Kawa

Still early in my process as I've been reaching out to various agencies, but I'm heavily considering starting my own firm. It is risky but I'd be able to ensure my hands are clean and not have my own opinions be conflicted with what a boss wants to do.

Peter Ariz ... get your boy. Or better yet, get your boy away from the program.

If you could get one player to represent from next year's team, who would it be?
