He had 6 sacks this year i believe. He has shown flashes but in this scheme he could have a huge year.

Don't agree with this at all. He was by far Miami's best dlineman this year and caused the most pressure of any dlineman Miami had. Had a bunch of hurries 5 sacks, the most tfl on the team and a few forced fumbles while playing in a dreadful scheme. When you add Gerald Willis to the line with quan Muhammad and Chad Thomas and the others, talent wise Miami's dline should be elite with the new scheme

The question remains if the scheme was the thing holding him back; but those are still very pedestrian numbers compared to the top NCAA performers. I don't disagree that adding an elite lineman, and changing to a more disruptive scheme should help him and the others.
 
He's gonna get paid. Smart and obvious choice.

What I don't get is the homoeroticism, that seems to be acceptable in these forums, associated with football players. I just don't see how it's "cool" tell blurt out/post some onomatopoeia like 'fapping' because some kid makes a commitment or a big play. To me that's ****gotry, even if it's subtle it shouldn't tolerated in a dayum football environment.
Sanduskyism, pussification or whatever you want to call it is just mind boggling when you consider that this is Miami. I guess the NAMBLA has succeeded in their agenda to make everybody 'Happy' (Ghey).

The 2-deep for next year looks good. GoRlden finally got some depth and talent on the DL but won't have the opportunity to completely misuse it. Good.

Good call on Mike Smith [MENTION=3355]WhatTheHell[/MENTION]. He was a demon rushing the passer at MNW. I think this staff will do a better job (not hard) finding spots for him to do what he does best; rush the passer.

Also, can we not put Chad Thomas at DT on obvious passing downs? I think he'd work best on the edge using his athleticism to abuse tackles.

I don't think Smith is that good either. He fattened up too much and he was never a speed deamon.

Barry Jackson is saying the Advisory Board rated Coley as a THIRD DAY pick. To say it'd be stupid for him to leave now would be a bit of an understatement.
