Wide receiver Antonio Callaway (Miami, Fla./Booker T. Washington) plans to publicly announce his college choice on National Signing Day morning, per his coach Tim Harris, Jr.

Callaway may or may not officially visit Florida this weekend. That's still up in the air, per his coach.

Callaway officially visited West Virginia this past weekend and Miami the weekend before.

I was told by multiple contacts familiar with this recruitment to "keep the Crystal Ball on Miami" for Callaway.

thanks for the update. he is coming. taking Gosier spot. and then hopefully D.Davis joins them to make it a BTW Trio.
 
Wow. Talk about holding a grudge if buddy doesn't visit UF. That's true 305 right there. I will feel better about losing Davante Phillips if we land Calloway and Marcus Lewis if we somehow land Davante Davis. Crown Ice Harris Jr if he could pull this off for us.

Yeah that's what I said. I would feel better about losing Marcus Lewis if we somehow land DDavis.

Had talked today with D$ after I left Coral Gables as my business that I own/inherited from my father. I have a contract to Coral Gables for their Backflow water inspection and repairs.


Was on campus today.


Ran into Herb as I was leaving and had talked with him for a bit. Mentioned that Kaaya has taken it upon himself to get the receivers together and they have been putting in extra work since the season ended. Said team felt like they didn't play up to their ability and are working hard to turn it around...

Had asked him about Callaway as Callaway is from Homestead. Looks at him as a little brother. He said he feels a good chance that Callaway will be coming.
 
Callaway will get plenty of playing time as a true freshman at Miami just as Phillip Dorsett did and he will be Dorsett's replacement. He'll be showcased and have a real shot at the NFL in 3 years.

I believe Callaway will be lost at Alabama and won't see much playing time until he's a junior if ever. If he really wants to get lost than West Virginia's the spot, a terrible place to live and play.
 
Callaway IMO. South Floridas 2nd best receiver. Have Ridley rated in front of him.


Callaway hasn't even scratched his ceiling yet. Only going to get better.

Still dont see him going to UF without a QB, and not 1 QB committed. . Deondre Francois pretty much shattered their dreams of a possible flip....

Always have mentioned. UF is a big factor for Callaway. He fell in love with that school when he visited last year.


And deerob. I was wondering what the UF fans were smoking.

FSU job is wide open, a better option at the moment as well for Francois. UF's class right now is horrid. I do think it will be a bit better for them next year but their transition class probably won't have much impacts in it if at all for 2015.

Sucks for them cause Francois legitimately liked UF early in the process.
 
I understand our situation but if Callaway is smart. He goes to Miami. You got Kaaya.

Or you have UF who is already throwing Treon under the bus

or

WVU which I don't understand how any kid would like going there unless their grades are just in the *******.


And Miami has homestead kids on the team who are also close with him and I'm sure Walton is in his ear.

Yes I expect him at Miami.
