Going back to the doink off the post against Virginia last year, the kid has had some tough moments. No one's crucifying him for missing a 53-yarder last week. Wasn't the staff thinking about bringing in the grad transfer kicker from USC in the offseason? For supposedly being the #1 kicker in America coming out of high school, he's been fairly average and I think the new staff has felt that way too

He should have made the chip shot against Michigan State and the donk to win the game against Virginia. The two kicks against A&M were brutal. Not going to blame him for the 53 yarder but he's been average up to this point.

If the rest of the team was as "good" in relation to the rest of CFB as Borregales is "good" in comparison to the rest of college kickers then we'd be a top 20 team that would run away with the Corstal.

The kid isn't elite (yet) but he's really one of the least of our issues.
