And you want to know why we lost???

Huge difference in "thinking" it and actually "saying" it to reproters to be recorded

Coaches are going to take note.... barring a miracle, he has played his last season as starter.... and then again, he might not even care about that next year. Just ride the bench and step in if needed.

Rosier is always quick to dive on the grenade. He’s courageous and he’s a leader, but he has no idea what happened, imo. And an answer like that illustrates it well.

His mechanics on his throws were all sorts of jacked up yesterday.

Every throw his release was long and slow, like he was throwing long toss in the outfield and not a football.

Painful to watch.

I must say, at least the kid was honest.

He was terrible yesterday and at least he has the self awareness to realize it. Maybe he wouldn’t have it if he hadn’t gotten yanked, who knows, maybe that is the wake up call needed to light a fire under his ***.

It’s weird how bipolar his play has been. He’s always been sort of a gunslinger, maddeningly innacurate and inconsistent, but never just missing throw after throw.

We still have the chance to close this thing out in a special way...hope he gets his **** together this week.

Hey at least the kid is honest. I give the kid credit. I’m sure he will be doing so serious soul searching in the next day or so. He lost sight of what’s next for what’s in two weeks. Now what’s in two weeks is going to take on a life of its own because of the added skepticism and doubt. This may even affect his standing with his teammates.

Maybe even the coaches bought into the “gamer” thing with Malik. Like he can have a terrible practice week but still come out and somehow lead us to a win and make plays when he has to. Personally I’d have liked to see Richt do a time split type of thing with He and Perry all season. Perry is obviously the QB of the future and he needs reps. I’d have liked to see that wildcat stuff be with Perry who can throw the ball out of those formations.

Man y’all took the young mans comments way out of context. He simply said that he had never lost a game so he may have become complacent. What he was referring to in that statement was him reflecting on if he could have done things different. One of the things he said he can improve was at practice by being more vocal.

His comments are what you want to hear from your leader. He messed up and owned up to it while also reflecting on ways to get better and prevent it from happening again. This sounds like the Tebow speech after they loss

How do you guys take what coaches or players say in interviews seriously?!?!

That’s just coach/player media bs talk. Technically he’s never been interviewed after a loss before.

You may know recruits, but this is just an awful take.

Just call it what it is.

The leader of the team just said he was there to be there.

No that is not what we want to hear from a leader .... that he was apathetic and that his head wasn't in the game...

it is one thing not to play well in spite of all the preparation ... but not to be prepared with all on the line, is not good leadership.

Now you see some of the actions from Rosier that made Richt say, "you will never play for me"

The Rosier from 18 months ago reared his ugly head

All I can say is...wow. A QB that doesn't talk to his receivers during practice? How has that been allowed to go on? Why would you run practices this way? Clemson's going to run train on us next week and it's not going to be pretty.

Pretty obvious why we lost. This team has been sleepwalking all year against the mediocre/bad opponents. They’ve gotten bailed out in a few games with lucky catches. They’ve had half’s in those games where they dominated but definitely not full games. They weren’t able to find that luck or spark yesterday(which they shouldn’t even need) and got their asses beat by a 4 win team. That was Pitts bowl game and senior day. They played like the team with the energy all day. I was at the game and from the start, their sideline was jumping up and down ours was just hovering around like they were in lala land. Malik sucked yesterday.... No other way around it. He’s had some clutch moments this year but overall he is what he is.... He inconsistent and inaccurate QB. Guys we’re open yesterday and he missed them. **** he missed Richards at least twice on deep balls. Defense played solid yesterday. Not great because they were beat a lot by the misdirections and boots all day against a freshman QB. Now we’ll see if this team takes this loss and comes out next week fired up and play like they did in the VT/ND games or play like they have most of the season.

Yeah, at a minimum this seems to have completely exposed the "calm under pressure" Rosier narrative for the more accurate "IDGAF" Rosier.

Frustrating quote by our QB leader.

We need dudes that hate losing more than they like winning.

Been saying this since the beginning of the season. We will see it soon enough...and while we saw some flashes of it throughout the season...yesterday was the day it was full on "you will never play for me" Malik Rosier. Terrible football by him and the body language was horrendous.

I don't want some ghey *** tebow speech. A ghey *** Tebow speech shouldn't be needed when you have a chance to go undefeated and you lose to a below average team. I don't give a **** if he gives speeches like Russell Crowe in gladiator..he needs to ******* sharpen up on game day period.

Would have rather seen DJ Dallas at QB instead of Rosier and the waterboy backup we toted out... Dallas at least would have ran for positive yards... I'm not being totally serious about having him in but anything is better than Rosier, except waterboy backup Sherriffs

Rosier simply isn't good and has been bailed out too many times... his lil speech there after the game is why he will never be good, he is a mental midget... we will see what he's really built of soon

Tebow got that title. Watson had the same speech and got that title also.
