Al Golden and player development..

This thread predates me joining here but I can't hate on guys being optimistic when Golden first got hired. It's the guys still defending him three or four years down the line that are embarrassing.
I was all in on Golden I can’t lie.

However I was always aware that things like this could happen so I didn’t document my feelings about him very often

Agreed. He sold me a lemon for sure but I was a quick learner. Some people swear 2 quarters into the Maryland game they knew. I doubt all that. I was still hyped when we beat Florida.

Crown Nites!!!!

He took a beating in here from several porsters who wanted to puff up golden when he had some real concerns about his time at Temple

He certainly developed the waistlines of some players. For some it was like being in a sumo dojo.

Whats your take on our current staff?

A lot of unknowns for me. I like enos tho. don't know anything about Diaz as a HC so its hard to comment. Mostly wait and see with me.

Golden was different cause he had a body of work at temple that you could go back and look at but even then it was wait and see. Maryland was a joke but tried to give him a pass. I would have fired that clown after the 4th game or which ever game was Kansas St that year.
