ACC Tournament

LSU down big to Kentucky. If it holds, that would seem to blow the door wide open for Florida to host with a win against Texas A&M.

The Irish should fall to 11th in the RPI.

Notre Dame:
-A few spots better RPI (11 vs 15)
-Better Top 50 record (14-8 vs 14-12)

Miami:
-A game better aggregate conference record (20-12 vs 18-12)
-Better Top 25 and Top 100 (slightly) records (11-8 vs 5-7 and 25-15 vs 18-11)
-Recent head to head

So we hope the committee puts the emphasis on regular season, there should be some credit for the 3rd best conference record in the top two RPI conferences.

Translation. No top 8 for Miami.

Best we can hope for is UF wins tonight and ends up hosting.

Hmmm taking my canes glasses off for a moment… we should get the seed over them based on those numbers

Surely means we won’t though

It's going to be close. We either get the #8 or #9 seed.

It’s really choose your adventure. We also have the 21st SOS vs 52nd. Their non conference SOS is an abysmal 261st to our 100th (which is unusually poor for us). When in doubt, it’s usually RPI uber alles though.

If we hadn't completely crapped the bed in the tourney I think we'd have a shot. But like I've said before, the head to head win will be completely negated by the fact ND curb stomped us last game. That 15 spot they put on us is what will ring loud to the committee.
