9-3.......Would you take it?

I'll take 10-3 with an ACCCG appearance. As long as we beat FSU and VT and don't ***** up with the likes of Pitt, Duke and Virginia. Bottom line is we have to make the ACCCG or he's gone.

I want this ******* gone , no matter the record.

We know he's a snake that tried to slime out the door too psu. Al blames players to the point it's ridiculous, makes childish excuses, terrible x/o guy , terrible game day coach and even worse he's a used car salesman .

I have no respect for him as a person.

So if we all vote 9-3 is acceptable - which nine teams agree to lay down on us, and which three teams will be selected to trounce us?

Golden has to go. Dumbest coach in college football.

Nine wins is not acceptable for any coach heading into his fifth year at this program. Ever. This administration, AD, and head coach have lowered expectations to the point where a certain section of this fan base would be content with an ACC Coastal "title" and losing to FSU at least once. Beat FSU, win the ACC, and win the BCS bowl game or GTFO. And there's obviously no chance of that happening.

We are fortunate enough to be in the ACC Coastal. Any competent coach heading into his fifth year here would have us in a position where the only two debatable games on the schedule would be against Clemson and FSU. Instead we're probably going to lose 5-7 games. Unacceptable.

Nine wins likely brings Golden back and prolongs this nightmare. I have no idea how any Miami fan could be satisfied with continued mediocrity. Nine wins in a coach's fifth year at Miami is the definition of mediocrity. This program is one legitimate coach away from being revived if for no other reason than the fact that we have the strongest recruiting base in the entire country.

I would take 10-3 if we beat FSU. Twice. We could lose the crappy bowl game if we get two wins against the Noles.
 
A 9-3 record THIS year is about the absolute worst thing that could happen to the program. The schedule is pathetic so the 9 wins wouldn't symbolize any sort of real "improvement"...meanwhile it would basically guarantee that Golden would get a lifetime contract.

Anything more than 7 wins this year and our self imposed sanction known as Golden continues.

Wack Al G is 3-17 when his ineptly coached team is trailing at the half...he's got nothing at half time besides blank stares...9-3 is extreeeeeeeeeeeemly optimistic

It is a very easy schedule honestly the only good teams are FSU and clemson a lot of those other teams suck, thats why i say 8-10 wins this year because of the schedule

It's pathetic. A competent coach heading into his fifth year at Miami would have only two debatable games on that slate (vs. Clemson, @ FSU).

Compare our schedule to what certain teams in the Pac-12 and SEC have to endure. Being in the ACC Coastal makes our schedule soft every year. Nine wins is unacceptable.
 
I think if we don't win the Coastal and go to the ACCCG, then he's gone. It also will depend on how the team looks on a week to week basis. We were 9-4 in '13, but on the field we looked arguably worse than last year. We have to stop looking so lost and clumsy in all 3 phases. There is no excuse for that anymore. No matter who is on the roster.
