2026 4-Star DL Nolan Wilson Puts Miami in Top Schools

Crazy bruh, if we want to compete we need to land stud DTs with size that the elites want. Waiting for the post that reads, “if our DTs eat this season that will help land a big time DT” which never is the case. You land them cause you land them, simple as that
Scott was a shocker. So we need him to develop here and be that dominant first round DT we can show to other recruits

If he doesn’t we can pretty much just stay at our seat at the kids table for DTs

Only point I'm trying to make is that this kid is huge ( bone structure ). He could blow up over a summer and easily be 280 by the time he gets on a college campus.
I would like for us to recruit the high value guys inside that already have that power, but yea you can be right but thats alot of weight to add quickly and ask them to play great unless they are super gifted. Which is if they are gifted they will more than likely be recruited like it by multiple big time DT programs.

Personally I'd rather him stay as an edge.

If he is naturally 250 might as well if hes quick enough with his feet to set the edge as well, knock two birds out with one stone. I was a guy like Dylan Stewart who can pass rush and set the edge. Was my favorite recruit that cycle and he should be a top 10 pick in 27. And our staff was right about him

We could use bigger DE obviously recruiting 200 DE just takes years to beef up and recruiting 240-250 pound DL makes everyone a project.

I played in the 70’s and maintaining 230 was unreal in South Florida constantly training 24-7 , 7 days a week I needed 5-6 thousand calories a day.
Come game day I’d put on my pants and I’d have to exchange for a medium which told me I was 220 pounds especially playing over Willie Jones at 250 easily was going to be a fight to stay in his head and grill for (4) quarters.

By games end keeping WJ to ZERO sacks I was 210 .

So 240-250 these days tells me we got 6’4” DL actually way less .

Throw in two a days we’ll have 220 DT freshmen and 195 DE .

250 DT , REALLY LMAO .

Why are we after smallness we’re D1 not D3 he’d be perfect size a South West Eastern Central Himalaya Mountain technical Community College.

Not going up against D1 350 OL fronts
Hey, you leave those kids from South West Eastern Himalayan Moun… Eastern Central Himalayan Mountain Technical Community College alone, they did nothing to you!!!

Kids from Mississippi don’t come to Miami. I like to see the staff is targeting the state and area as they have a lot of talent.

Is Mario going to break the rule? This would be a major surprise.

Has Miami ever landed a top player from that state?

Markell Bell is from Mississippi

Picayune is not far from New Orleans & Baton Rouge wouldnt shock me if he comes and we land more kids from the sip in the future
My family owns businesses in Picayune, Town is really small. With that being said, if he commits here, l’d be shocked if he sticks. I see SEC all day long. Those schools would have similar vibes to where he lives.

Spent most of a summer in Picayune many years ago. Not only was it hotter than the blazes of **** and damnation it was twice as humid too.
