Hes got 6ish months till he most likely enrolls early to the school he picks.
In my rant! I didn't even consider that possibility...
Hopefully Wiley, Pruitt, Hayes, Bonner,....etc! Take a step and we can redshirt him!!

Don't see him signing with Miami even if he does commit this summer

I think this isn’t the old days. Pretty sure now with the house settlement that a commitment now comes with a NIL deal as well. Of course that doesn’t mean he can’t break it and sign with someone else but $$ will need to be repaid.

Ideally would love to see a commitment followed by a transfer to say Columbus HS but that might be a bridge to far for others to accept.

Always better for most to get into the S&C program as early as possible but would agree hes going to need a redshirt like 90% of the guys coming into college

Where TF did you get DT from?
Gaby just said a DT class of him James Johnson, Bacon and Freddie Wilson would be a really solid class. Maybe he’s full of **** that they’re looking at him at DT but then that presents us with the dilemma of whether he’s full of **** or not with Miami feeling confident here.

He can add weight! Or, did you forget he is only a junior right now!!
Weight conversations are always kinda wild

Gotta look at frame and that’s not an exact science either. We have some WRs that concern me about adding weight (Russell/Lopez) but it doesn’t mean they can’t or won’t be extremely successful

Im in the minority that doesn’t think Bain is a DT either given his frame and the weight needed but end of the day who the **** knows until it actually happens

That's true! We don't know, I agree he isn't a dt! But situationally I think he can fill in...but Aaron Donald was full time dt and he's a hall of famer eventually

GR15 had some dominant snaps at DT and he was skinny as **** so yeah it’s not always just the weight

Just speculating but it seems he got Stauncil’s deal
Two different positions stancil is a DT already 6'3 290 this is an EDGE all the way 6'4 250.

In a perfect world we land both and keep hunting for DT brown johnson cleveland DE/EDGE jones perry-wright kid from orlando lake nona HS

Yeah I don't see us landing him James Johnson, Lamar Brown, Anthony Jones, and others lol. Give me JJ, Brown, and Jones. If we land him and/or Perry-Wright in addition to them that's be an insane dl haul for the year

Looking at Wilson I don’t see him staying at Edge. Dude will probably 20-25lbs his first semester in a strength and conditioning program.

It is odd how Mario loves Massive OL but tweener types on the DL.

I'm still waiting for Cyrus Moss to gain a couple of ounces in a S & C program. I've got about 20ish lbs. I can donate.

In our new Defense he'll still be an edge but I wouldn't put it past him playing along the DL not full time though, with his athleticism and skillset let him cook abusing and blowing by Tackles all game long.

He wont be a NT or over the center but seems like a perfect candidate to play 4i. Not sure what the issues is, great addition if we are lucky enough to get a commitment.

I think it’s more of CIS not wanting to adapt to the 21st century than Mario “liking” tweeners. He “likes” tweeners because Defenses have evolved into more hybrid schemes that ask players to play multiple roles within a defense, especially the Dline.
maybe on the edges but we need to recruit bigger bodies on the inside of the DL.
