2019 OT Darnell Wright receives offer

Didn’t know he had lost his older brother, that **** is tragic. Glad to see he’s overcoming it in a positive way. Seems like a really good kid who has a promising future even outside of football

That’s wild bro. Didn’t know his brother got zombied. Sad to hear. Has that had any affect on wanting him to stay closer to home? Not sure how big the family is, but losing a little brother puts things in bigger perspective as far as family. Too many young brothers/sisters (talking about all ethnicities and races) are dying off some dumb chit, alone...not even considering unjustifiably being shot.

Well his Bro went with some people to rob Marty and got himself killed.

As far as his brother being killed, It plays a part in him being close to home but being close to home really isnt really an issue anymore.

So we offered because his family bought him canes gear (they’re fans) for Christmas and he tweeted it to searels (legit, real story...from Canesport via his mouth.)

Kid doesn’t have a lot of money so he can’t really afford to come down here( 12 hour drive/no direct flight I believe) so he never does. (Not sure if true)

Staff doesn’t really recruit him (true)

Drewny1 says he wants to hear from us and that he’ll love it down here (not sure if true)

Drewny1 says months later that Miami hasn’t called him (not sure if true)

Tried to get OV set (confirmed by Ivins)

Then we never here anything about him again.

They lost to Candy for the 4th straight year and has 1 conference win in the past 3 years..... They are basically an FCS school now

Yup and luckily he’s not in FL a lot but we’ll see him for Carolina kids. He came into that job at a great time with VT falling off a cliff about to land on UNC.
