2019 DB Tyrique Stevenson talks Recruiting

The Canes have had 56 different players make the Pro Bowl since game began. Bama has 31 players make the Pro Bowl. We’ve had a player make the Pro Bowl in 56 out of the last 57 years. Leading most to deem us NFLU.

Bama set their record of Pro Bowlers in one season with 6 in 2016. Before that they had 5 going in a season twice, in 1984 and 2014 (we also had 5 in 2014). Since 1984, we’ve had 5 or more Pro Bowlers in one season 14 times (starting in 1991 with 5). Of those 14 times, 7 times we had 7 or more players make Pro Bowl in 1 season, with 10 in 2010 and 11 in 2009 (this is not 15 years ago as some have argued, which btw we’ve had 90 Pro Bowl appearances in the last 15 years).

Finally, our school is #1 when it comes to players starting in the league both 4 years or more (Bama #9) and 8 years or more (Bama doesn’t even make Top 10). Bama maybe where you go to get paid NOW, but the U is where you go to get paid long term. For any recruits making LONG TERM “business decisions” the choice is CLEAR!!!

Never have I commented on a post twice, but mods, can this post be a sticky, please? I know recruits come on this board and peep what’s happenin’. All these recruits talking about business decisions, need to see these fun facts! Bravo, Mr. @TRick72

You can pull that kind of **** when you're winning or a brand new w no real record.

Unfortunately, he went w Culpeppers knee over Brees' shoulder and well, we see where he is now.

The find players started clowning Saban as the losses piled up.
Still ****es me off to this day about him taking Duncey Culpepper instead of Brees.

YES! Miami is, bar none, the last program that should be defensive about their track record of putting kids in the NFL. There is a reason we are called the U. (NFL U).

You've got to be one weak-*** man to worry about other programs pointing to their success in getting kids to the League. No one is better than us in that regard.

Stockholm Syndrome is what it is, and ESECPN is the kidnapper. People have been so indoctrinated it is sickening, they have been duped by a bad marketing ploy, what’s even worse is more often than not when you talk to a fan from one of these SEC schools and there team is doing ******, they will turn around and say,” Well we may not be doing so well, but I am gonna go for LSU, Georgia, etc... You know keep it the conference.” It is in this moment that I tell them I don’t know, and that they aren’t even a real fan of whatever team they claim to support.

Great ******* post!
You want to go to the NFL and underperform? Pick Baga.
You want to go to the NFL and dominate? Pick The U.

Let em know cuz.
We’ve been telling them but they don’t listen. That’s a mf’ing mic drop of a post. Some of these dudes have been out here since Saban got the job lurking around trying to poke holes in our history and our recruiting claiming to be cane fans.
Amazing the amount of juggling Saban nut dudes on here.

Alabama wins titles end of story. Thats why top recruits want to go there. They don't really care about what players do in the league because they have the mentality of "I'm better than etc. so things will be different when I get to the league". Its no different than basketball look at how many busts coach K has had over the years and yet Duke signs a top class every year. Unfortunately we've become a society of front runners (see golden state warriors) and these kids are no different. We just have to get into the national title picture and it'll be much easier for us to get these top Florida kids.

Start a new thread with this exact quote. Mods, then take that post and sticky it.
