2019 CB Marcus Banks hits portal

Don't know if this is the place to ask this but Couch had a down season. Is it a shaun wade situation where dude is clearly a nickel but we were trying to make him play outside? I wasn't paying much attention to corner alignment throughout the season.

Maybe, really don’t know when it comes to Curtis. But those 9 would be balanced at the position for DVD and T-Rob. They’d have an all conference CB (Stevenson), decent starter but high potential in Clarke, a quality yet undersized nickel in Couch, a quality rotational in Blades, and Ivey. Add Banks who is a quality, well coach player who could challenge Clarke, without having to rush Graves and Rogers until they’re ready and can develop at a decent pace, and that’s the top 1-2 CB room in the conference.
Couch is *** and Clarke gave up about 50 catches on 51 attempts

Rambo is not coming back. He broke all of our single season records. That should count for something. The fact that we play a crap schedule/competition is not his fault. Additionally, we didn’t have a wide receiver paired with him that was even remotely a threat like he was and he still gets these kind of stats in a season. That’s impressive when he is the main target for defenses to isolate and they still can’t do it. TVD made him look good. The only thing holding him back is that he has a small sample size since this year was such an aberration. And it shouldn’t be but that will be the mark on him going higher

Unless we can find 2 starters in the portal we're fvcked at corner, if 2 leaves then we need 3 starters. The CBs on the roster are borderline unplayable or just rotational guys

IF/when Mario is named as HC here, he’ll probably bring his current CB’s coach at Oregon, Rod Chance.

Who’s originally from Ft. Lauderdale & played Football at STA.

Obviously he aint T Rob on the trail, but is he what we need there?

I was about to ask your opinion on him and then realized..... Haven't Oregon produced a couple high rd picks at DB lately?
