2018 WR Warren Thompson talks Canes.

Xavier Williams is tremendous athlete but drops a lot of balls but that is fixable. I want Moore in this class bad. Kid is a baller and he grew up a Cane.

With Wiggins and Hightower committed which happen to be 2 receivers that are 6'2 and above that pretty much already takes care of the need of receivers with length. Pope measured in at 6'1 and its very likely he will be in the class. I'd say give the last spot to Xavier Williams/elijah Moore/ warren Thompson/ kevin Austin or Dominic watt

I really like Austin, but any of those 5 would be great for the fourth spot (assuming we get Pope).

As of now Austin is first in line for that fourth spot if we move on from Xavier but he's sorts interchangeable with elijah Moore. Alot of recruits are lobbying for a spot for elijah. My nephew thinks he's a beast & a great kid.

Didn't you say a couple weeks ago we'd have to miss out on a lot of guys to even get to Elijah because he was so far down the list? Now, he's next up.

pope is 6'1 due to an extra 3 inches in his neck.

functional height should be measured at shoulders & it should come combined with a wingspan measure.

someone design an algorithm or formula for this new measurement & then sell it to nike as part of the SPARQ score

Recruiting changes Chisel you know sh it changes

That's always the reply when there was grotesquely out of whack info provided in the first place.

It shouldn't have changed that dramatically in the course of the last two weeks.

I love what brooklyn brings to the board but I'll smh if he starts parroting phrases like "recruiting is fluid, guys."

I agree. I'd be very happy with either Xavier or Elijah Moore taking that spot. Honestly, I'd take a 5th WR if both Xavier and Elijah wanted in.

I'd agree especially since Xavier is so multi faceted. But unless we take that into account we ain't going over 4 recievers. Irony at its finest. Just last year everyones beating on the staff cause we cant get the right players in. Now this year we turn them away... it's all just about numbers. This is why we couldn't afford to go fishing last year & why I still think we should've let Harley clear it. Moore has been begging to be a cane...

Yeah as much as everyone wants to predict us getting a class of 30, I think 26 is basically the max I think this class ends up being.
qb -1
rb - 2
wr - 4
te - 1
Ol - 3
dl - 5
lb - 2
db - 7. Cambpell, Jobe, Hall, Ivey, Blades, Frierson, Russell
k - 1

Really I only see us getting 5 WRs if one of those DBs don't choose us. Or if we are willing to just rock with a walk on kicker or if Feagles can also play kicker or something.

Yeah. He's in the seventh spot.... Maybe for u being a lawyer far down the list of who most clients want yet will settle for if needed that means next up. When we had that conversation we still had Copeland,Austin & Thompson ahead of him as well as jalen hall & amon ra. Not to mention it being xavier spot to lose. Now except for Austin & Xavier we've moved on from all of them whether it's because of the commits we've got or lack of interest moving forward from those kids. So what's your point? I still don't see personally any difference as an end result between him & harley. Matter of fact just like with last year while yall great fans & recruits lobbied for a spot for Harley now the same thing is happening with moore. Last point maybe you misunderstand or maybe ur just manipulating things as usual bit he's not next up. He still has Williams & Austin AT LEAST I'm front of him possibly Joshua moore as well. Maybe that's just not alot to you. Regardless the staff's stance on him still is negative cause of size. Just my opinion he's slowly creeping up. & neither my nephew or pope was in the fold. You just wanna & moan. Send me your address & I'll mail you some tampons

But being honest with you shouldn't we be able to take it for granted that this bunch of grown *** men would understand that... it's a given most have never been in a position like this or actually fulfilled a dream but these are kids and this is reality. **** changes from one moment to the next. It shouldn't even need to be addressed cause it's common sense. It's like let's pretend chise was a decent lawyer rather than an ambulance chaser or whatever. He wouldve had firms bidding for him coming out of college etc. He might think he's already fielded his best offer,UNTIL A BETTER OFFER COMES... nothing is a given

OL will be minimum 4. The minimum class they'll target is 27. Max 30.

I'm not sure I'd say he's overrated but I would agree among is a far better prospect. Halls thing is his ranking is entirely based on potential. He plays in the inner city on a basic team against largely basic comp. His potential is through the roof but I personally would like a kid to prove something to me. I question hall as to how he'll preform at the big level. I'm curious but I don't mind him taking a back seat at all. In all likelihood him & among will play together at usc.

Why so touchy? Are you going to mail me tampons from your personal collection? If you are, then I hope you have the decency to send me some that you haven't soiled.

Fact is you said a couple weeks ago that Elijah was so far down the list it'd take an extraordinary set of circumstances for him to even get an offer. Now, two weeks later, you have him next up behind Austin.

You're so emotional that you claim I need tampons because I pointed out this sudden and extreme change of pace in such a short time. Two weeks ago, you were laughing at people who thought Elijah had an offer and that UM was actively recruiting him and that he had a chance to be at UM. Now, he's next up. And you get riled up because someone pointed out this sudden change?

It's a discussion board, dear friend. It's not the BrooklynDeity board. There are enough guys in here worshiping you. I'm just looking for discussion and reasons for such abrupt changes.

I've asked you this before, and you glossed over it: Is your rap that UM fans lobbied for Harley, and that's why he's here? UM fans are now moving Elijah up the list like Secretariat charging up the rail?

Look at this wounded clown, who is hiding behind some fake claims of being a scholarship football player at UM, making **** up about my professional reputation like he has the slightest clue who recruited me aggressively out of law school or where I was hired out of law school.

Meanwhile, there isn't a scholarship football player at UM that fits the descriptions and time frames he's provided on here. No one at RCA Music/Sony of any consequence fits his description either. Bunch of execs over there, and not one has his claimed background. Yet he's some high roller. LOL

This dude's sounding more like Dyron "RJ Hustle" "Big Conch" Curry every day. Hurry up and get the mods to delete this post before your fake persona gets blown.

I believe He said we had 7 guys above Elijah Moore.
Pope, Hightower, Wiggins, Williams, Austin are definitely ahead of him so thats 5.
Then earlier he was talking about Copeland and how he tried to commit but there was some BS going on that might have led to us pulling his offer or some ****. So he was probably above Moore too = 6.

So not like he was that far off. Plus maybe last month we were recruiting Watt, Thompson, Harris or Joshua Moore harder.

You always pick pieces out of a conversation when the whole is necessary. I said fans & recruits in both instances. I also just said this is my opinion that he's becoming a legit option & o stated my reasons I believe so. What's confusing? Two receivers have committed since than which obviously changes things & many others have been eliminated for one reason or another... two weeks might be a blink for you but in this instance it's plenty of time. And stick to reality. I haven't laughed at anyone one way or the other for anything let alone an opinion. I stated a fact at the time that he wasn't a legit option & that came straight from the mouth of the individual who makes that decision. Now I'm stating it as an opinion that with all the other changes on the board from new commits,to kids we passed on to kids who passed on us I personally wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a topic of discussion moving forward. I don't get what's confusing there. & I'll send u a variety pack. New & used.

Can't you just do the standing vert jump and take their base measurement (before they jump) with their arms extended above their head as their "height"
because height is only important because thats what their reach is?
