Bama doesn't drop even 1 spot even though they lost? In what world?
You think Texas or Ole Miss are better?
Those are the only teams I think have an argument.

We're in a perfect position. We just need to take care of business over the next three weeks.

Make sure we treat each game as a 1-0 challenge. Go into South Bend undefeated but as an underdog against an Irish team that is ranked ahead us.

It was a 3 point loss to the #3 team and the game included a final 3 minute CLEAR PI no call that would have put bama well within fg position. It was not a bad loss, by any means.

If we lose a close game to ND, how many spots do you think we'll drop?

The logic makes sense. Alabama barely lost to the #1 team in a questionable fashion. We should also not drop at all if we have a close loss to ND. But the AP poll doesn't typically work that way. You lose, you drop in rankings. I just hate the SEC bias. The rules have changed for them.

OSU barely lost to Texas at Texas and dropped +5 spots.

If we we go play as #2 vs #3, how far does ND drop after we beat them? Taking Bama's example, not at all?

Even if we lose to ND in dramatic fashion where the game is close and the refs made a bad call or something in ND's favor, they will drop us out the top 5, I believe. We'll then win out, win the ACC and maybe get a first round bye still.

they'd still be in the top 5 I think, I think they would punish us more for losing that game
