OL will be minimum 4. The minimum class they'll target is 27. Max 30.

bruh we've already discussed this. And theres no way a minimum is 27. Get out of here with that Min is probably 24 if we don't land a few guys here or there. its just ridiculous the amount of people that would need to leave to get a class of 30. Its already going to be hard enough to get 26. And we've already discussed the repercussions of a class of 30 would have.

26 is ridiculously easy. 30 is difficult. We have 15 open schollies right now. There are 6-7 RS JRs (Mayes, Henley, McRay, Harris, Langham, Gray, Rosier if he gets bypassed) that could easily graduate. There will be 2-4 NFL defections. That's already 23-26. That's not even including any additional regular transfers and expulsions.

Get your head out of your ***, kid.

They're gonna target 27 minimum. The only way we don't get that is if kids defect at the last minute and we don't reach on plan Cs and Ds.

Last years class was 24, 1 less than the 25 limit. If I read the rule correctly, we can use 1 EE toward last year and therefore have a class of 26.

Unless some of those 24 from 2017 are applied to the previous class also....I think?

2015: 5 EE's out of 22
2016: 5 EE's out of 19
2017: 10 EE's out of 24

If the 5 EE's from 2016 were applied to 2015, that would mean the 2016 class was 14, and would mean the 10 EE's from 2017 could be applied to 2016 and still be under 25 for that year. This would mean the 2017 class would technically be 14, leaving 11 spots available for EE's in the 2018 class...as an absolute max. That would mean 36 is the most we could possibly sign and still be at the 25 per class limit...which basically means we do not have to worry about the class size limit.

But, we only have 36 total Seniors/Juniors/Spots remaining, so getting the full class of 36 would require all of them to leave next year.
Yeah but you are forgetting that our counter for 14-16 was 3 schollys less than 25. Also 2014 was a big class with 27 cause we wanted to loaded up so we could get in front of sanctions.

no it wasn't. The sanctions had nothing to do with the class limit. Literally it was just 9schollys over 3 yrs with at least 1 per yr. we could still sign full classes every year as long as we had the correct amount of overall scholarships.

also you have to consider that out of 27, 9 were EE's that could be applied to the previous year, and so on.

I was always skeptical of him being that he is from Armwood
I was always skeptical on him as he never shows up in real games and seems to only look decent without any pads on. Some of you guys make me laugh at how you dogged e njoku but want this kid. Thompson aint even close to njoku talent or production wise

Saw Thompson play live a couple times this past year. I haven't seen anything that stood out about the kid yet besides his body frame. I'm located in Tampa so I'll keep an eye out for the kid

People keep forgetting about the Initial Counter rules. Only stupid people think that the 85 scholarships is the only rule to apply.

24-27 max. ****, we already have a long-snapper set up to take a mid-year replacement rule slot, assuming someone graduates mid-year. IC rules are real and will have just as much impact as any other rule.

People need to stop counting to 85 and thinking they are smart.

Wow. Talk about a commitment out of left field.

Wasnt a big fan of this kid. Seemed "heavy footed" at the camps I saw and didnt seem to get much seperation either. Wonder if he had a commitable offer with FSU. But then again, some kids just want to get away from home and see new things.

Well according to him, he said he felt he would be better off in a Spread Offense.

I'm just happy that he ****ted on UF after he visited them, especially because they thought they were getting him lol.

Need to sign more hogs up front I believe we are pretty set at WR. However can never have enough guys in the trenches. I hope Moten stays healthy because really thin at DT even though some DEs can play inside if needed.

More O linemen keep them coming!

Moten is a senior? Do our fans actually follow the team?

Has to be something we don't know about Thornton's recruitment. Either that or this staff really doesn't like to go back at kids that they sensed led them on and snubbed 'em in first place.
